This is pretty interesting. It seems that the stiffer lines may improve ABS performance in some way---at least on this vehicle. Maybe it speeds loop time? It would be fun to do a deep-dive on this. Maybe expore a few diffrerent brands of rubber lines too. Instumentation to record the runs would help.

I don’t see a jack stand under your vehicle. You should work safely and never trust just a hydraulic jack. Be careful!

I have these pucks along with the motor and transmission mounts for around a year. Vibrations definitely lesson over 1000miles but you get used to it. I kept the stock dogbone mount and the rubber degraded pretty quick. I just got the 034 dogbone installed and NVH is up at idle but Im thinking it will decrease over time.

Just got a 2016 Golf SE and the latch has stopped working. When I lift the handle nothing happens. Could it be the latch that's causing the issue? or could it be something else? It did work when I bought the car but it has now stopped working

So I have a 2009 MK5 GTI 2.0tsi 6 speed manual with integrated Engineering 3” down pipe with ESC tunings 3” cat back. I also installed a diverter valve spacer and noticed after I installed the spacer that my car would just stall out randomly when I push the clutch in. And power would randomly cut out while I was driving. I was just curious if this has happened to you or have you heard of it happening. I think because of the full 3” exhaust I have no back pressure and with the diverter valve spacer was causing too much unmetered air to be let out and cause my car to stall.

I’ve had 034Motorsports Upper + Lower Dogbone Inserts with Pendulum Mount for a couple years now on my Mk6 Gti and it’s near perfect for both daily driving and track use.
@ethanaaАй бұрын
I've got the same pucks and dogbone and your review is spot on. There is a lot of low rpm NVH, but above 2k seems to be just fine. I also have the 034 density line motor and transmission mounts, but I did all those upgrades at once so it was good to see that the pucks are probably what's causing most of the NVH. Been running it all for a bit now and it does break in a bit. Definitely makes the car feel way more responsive.
@TheParkingLotMechanicАй бұрын
Good to know about the break in! I was planning on motors mounts eventually as well. Good to know this is probably the most intense with NVH of the three.

I had 224K miles on my MK6 GTI before the plastic factory pump had a thermostat failure. The pump itself was fine. Of course since I was removing everything to get to the thermostat, replacing the pump seemed sensible. I called a very popular online VW/AUDI parts supplier to make sure I was buying the correct 2013 CBFA pump for my car. The rep told me he'd recommend "their" aluminum housing made by Bremmen. Since it less expensive and recommended I took his advice and ordered it. When it arrived it was for a CCTA application. How does this happen? I called them, they took care of me, but this time I told them, "Just send me the factory CBFA pump". So that's what I installed and it's working great (as expected). Hopefully I get some trouble free use out of it, like I did the first.
