@@halimashichehi I think I purchased two sessions of three-minute fly time. Trust me…thats more than you think it is, and was well worth it. Wonderful experience!

Just had my second trip at an iFly. Gets a bit addicting. When I get persistent of passing and improving my level 1 skills, I care much less that I spent an additional $210 in flights while I was there. That was for 7 additional 2 minute flights on top of the Five 2 minute flights I already had. I got passed for Neutral, Up and Down, and Turns for Level 1. I sorta got backwards and forwards, but they need some work. Hope to get Level 1 all completed on my 3rd trip. Needless to say, after a total of 24 minutes of flying that day, my arms and chest were pretty wrecked.

I have passed Level 1 and I can fly on my own now. Yes, this is worth it! So far, being able to fly on my own has cost me about $778. Hard to describe the feeling I had when my instructor pointed his finger up, giving me the go ahead to do my own "high flight." I'll now have to buy block time for when I fly again and it'll be a cheaper rate. I'll basically have the tunnel to myself.

My advice is: do the real thing!! I did it and, honestly, skydiving is not as scary as it seems to be. Plus, you will be tied to an experienced instructor who will do everything for you. You just listen to what the instructor tells you to do and enjoy the ride. I will definitively skydive again (my jump was from 10.000 ft, next time I will want to jump higher).

1 minute, but you can combine two of your flights to 2 minute flights. Much better for when you're trying to learn to be stable.

2 months ago I did my first tandem skydive and loved it (well I loved it when the parachute opened and I knew I was no longer falling to my death lol) so now I'm going to start AFF so I can jump alone. I did 13 minutes total of tunnel time in the last 2 days. It's a great way to practice stable body position. I can't wait until I'm skydiving on my own. And for anybody reading this, no matter how afraid you are of jumping out of a airplane go and do a tandem skydive. It will literally change your life

You may want to check out Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. If you're in the northern VA area, try entering at Front Royal, VA and exit at Thornton Gap (Rt 211). Then go to Warrenton and take Rt 29 back to the Fairfax area. This makes a nice loop for a day trip, but you can continue further south, if you want. Nice video of Harpers Ferry. It's one of our favorite spots.

Great video really enjoyed it. I live deep within the mountains of West Virginia. I love my seclusion away from noise cities and traffic. I take daily walks throughout the mountains and I have been for well over 40 years. I wouldn't have it any other way it's an absolutely beautiful place to live in a great way of life.

I have had more injuries flying tunnel than skydiving. As a newbie remember a few points, relax, hips forward (banana shape body) bent legs go back and straight legs forward. Straight arms go back, hands by chin go forwards, turn hands 45' same direction to turn one way, turn them the other way to go other way. Look down slightly to go up, chin up to come down to the net. The learning curve is very fast to start with, 30mins and most people are flying most basic belly skills. More advanced moves take hours.

WV is good for historical value, personally from what I have seen is virginia is probably the best state to go for history in large masses because it is everywhere, and I mean everywhere. But history is always special and everyone has it, so don't take this as saying virginia is the best for history as a while, it just has a lot of history that still remain

why does the guide standing never lift off?
@soul2soultravel943 жыл бұрын

@@soul2soultravel94 yes I believe so aswell, and reason why they generally leave the tunnel instead of leading again is because it's harder to land when flying than it is to leave and step back in, I know I could have done a better job explaining
@Drifterteetea2 жыл бұрын
Surface area is the simple answer. Believe it or not walking is much harder than it looks. Instructors spend hours learning to walk in the tunnel. I sometimes let my students try walking which makes for good family video footage :) check out my basic tutorial here, more advanced tutorials will follow kzbin.info/www/bejne/rnexdmSml859itE

Thanks for the video. We're planning on going as a family for my 40th birthday. I have always wanted to skydive, but for the price for me by myself to do it for real, all five of us can do this and get the two flight option. My question for you: did you pay for the "high flight" add on, or did you just work your way up to higher parts of the tunnel? I'm trying to see the difference between the extra for all five of us or not. Thank you!
