Watch as I take flight at iFly Indoor Skydiving, in Ashburn, VA.....right outside of Washington, D.C. However, one question still remains . . . is the experience really worth the money? Tell me what you think in the comment section.

I did my second flight today and omfg flying with the instructor is one thing but flying by urself is just… there’s nothing better other than actual skydiving. So peaceful and fun.

2 months ago I did my first tandem skydive and loved it (well I loved it when the parachute opened and I knew I was no longer falling to my death lol) so now I'm going to start AFF so I can jump alone. I did 13 minutes total of tunnel time in the last 2 days. It's a great way to practice stable body position. I can't wait until I'm skydiving on my own. And for anybody reading this, no matter how afraid you are of jumping out of a airplane go and do a tandem skydive. It will literally change your life

I have had more injuries flying tunnel than skydiving. As a newbie remember a few points, relax, hips forward (banana shape body) bent legs go back and straight legs forward. Straight arms go back, hands by chin go forwards, turn hands 45' same direction to turn one way, turn them the other way to go other way. Look down slightly to go up, chin up to come down to the net. The learning curve is very fast to start with, 30mins and most people are flying most basic belly skills. More advanced moves take hours.

I came across your video giving myself a refresher on the tunnel since they got shut down last year and I’m just going back today. I have jumped the real thing 23 times. The tunnel is cool for improving your skills, but nothing compared to jumping from two miles up! Most all skydivers use the tunnel for learning new flying skills because you can stay in there much longer than a real skydive lasts. 30-45 seconds of free fall on a real skydive, depending on the altitude you jump, opening altitude, position you fall in, etc..

The Traveling Bachelor I don’t know yet. Texas has no more mask mandate, so it’s up to ifly if they want to make one wear it or leave it to personal choice. A lot of businesses here still force their employees to wear a mask and encourage customers to, but don’t enforce it if the customer doesn’t want to wear one.
@billytrevathan6405
@billytrevathan6405 3 жыл бұрын
The Traveling Bachelor -Well, they are requiring masks even though there is no law in place. Basically, you pull the mask down when entering the wind tunnel but wear it the rest of the time. Of course, everyone sitting on the benches outside the tunnel while waiting their respective turns are in a sealed space and all breathing the same air. It’s all about keeping up appearances.

My advice is: do the real thing!! I did it and, honestly, skydiving is not as scary as it seems to be. Plus, you will be tied to an experienced instructor who will do everything for you. You just listen to what the instructor tells you to do and enjoy the ride. I will definitively skydive again (my jump was from 10.000 ft, next time I will want to jump higher).

Aubreyna Archer I purchased 6 minutes of flight. Trust me....that is MORE than enough, because it’s hard to keep your body in the correct position while the wind is blowing so hard. It’s a serious workout! So I did two flights....3 minutes each. By the time you’re done, you’ll be ready for a nap. 😆😆😆

Hey! It depends on how long you wanna fly. I think it was about $100 minimum....but think about it this way....when was the last time you went indoor skydiving? When is the next time you'll go? If the answer is "once in a lifetime"....then $100 is definitely worth a once in a lifetime experience. Thanx for watching Brother! Cheers! Hope you can subscribe.

@soul2soultravel94
@soul2soultravel94 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, I didn't mention price because the overall price will depend upon how long you intend to fly, and/or the manner in which you fly...for example virtual, regular, etc. This video was more-so for the purpose of showing the step-by-step process of preparing to fly, and the flight itself. Ideally, I was hoping that the viewers would then decide whether it was worth looking-up the price on the iFly website. As far as cost range, it may cost anywhere from $100 - $300+ depending on what you want. Hope that helps! Thanx for watching.
