Hope you've gotten better along with launching the Kestrel. If not this is a tip I do with my 18 m. When you have it at zenith and the tips are hanging and blocking the outer intake: grab your steering lines and over sheet the kite. This will force the tips open and unblock the outer intakes and the kite will fully fill in seconds.

I know there is a major price difference between the compared two kites but bro those Chinese kites looked and "sounded" like pain. I wonder what is the water relaunch be like. You probably detach and swim back to the shore instead of relaunching,..

I stopped watching because of the annoying background "music" NOISE. What was the purpose? Instructional videos should do just that. Instruct. Not try to entertain. The noise was not only unnecessary, but got in the way. Period

Thank you for the video. My machine was leaking water out of the bottom overnight. Sent for repair and returned “no fault found”. Took the covers off as per your video and I traced it to the small flow meter at the base. Got one from Amazon for €12, squeezed the original out, replaced it. Working good as new!

Excellent tutorial. You really know these machines as opposed to many who are opening them for the first time and video themselves doing it. This is incredibly useful. BYW. I've seen the bearings on Ali Express. So someone out there knows of this fault and how to fix it besides you my friend! LOL

You're doing this wrong. Kites like the Kestrel (or Chrono or Sonic) must be launched with the bar pulled. exactly between the point where the kite wants to shoot up and the backstall. These kites are not for beginners!
@RomaFixcom
@RomaFixcom Ай бұрын
I agree that they are not for beginners and with bar pulled there is a big chance of edge flipping, so I would say the best result I could achieve putting pressure on all the lines and when it picks a bit to put pressure on back line but maybe this video will help in someone's decision.

Exactly! Takes a bit of practice, play a bit with front lines, never had problems with launching Pansh kites so far! Flysurfer is great kite but very expensive!)
@RomaFixcom
@RomaFixcom Ай бұрын
I would say way to expensive but sometime you can find used soul same price as new pansh, this where my first launches I also tried side launch but cause not lot of room to play and sometimes it flipped and shifted, the middle launch was more predictable and if I would keep it longer in the end of the window it may inflate quicker but more drag. So I wouldn't recommend it for beginners.

Very through - thank you. I was hoping to see where the laser reads the cartridge, but after disassembling much of this machine, and still not getting to the sensors, I will give it back to my daughter. This seems to be an extraordinary effort - three motors, heaters, electronics, seals, springs, etc,, just to cook some coffee. I'm not sure the coffee it makes tastes any better than using a good, freshly roasted coffee, ground right, and brewed at 194 degrees - far cheaper, and ultra reliable.

It worked like a charm. The toughest part was pressing down on the spring during reassembly and making that turn. But everything worked great and it is fixed! Like another comment below I found the T10 was ideal. Thank you-this video continues to help rescue an older but reliable Nespresso Vertuo.

An excellent video. OK the camera could have been positioned slightly better, but he does say to take stage photo’s for reference. My friends machine wasn’t pumping water, so I did the strip down to the stage of removing the white control unit, then removed the four screws under this, which accessed the water connection, this revealed the nozzle, which was blocked with coffee, a long meat pin cleared this! Job done, I love a challenge, but who can manage without KZbin.

Thanks! This helped me fix mine a lot! The only part that gave me trouble was when you were releasing the ribbon cable to the thumb button area (actually it goes to the ring of LED's), the camera went blurry and it's not clear how the release works. For those also wondering: Lift up on the black part of the connector and it will flip up and release the cable.

First, thank you for taking the time to share this. I saved so much money while also feeling so satisfied for not only saving money, but completing a task that was actually challenging for me, and not being wasteful. I would have to say that the process is tedious, but worth it. If you’ve ever completed a Lego set, you can do this. I am a mom that needs coffee but does not want to waste money throwing away a perfectly good machine, all that needed to be replaced was the ball bearing.

Seriously frustrating when you pull machine out of camera view and I’m over here trying to follow step-by-step what you’re doing. After removing the springs, the white part with the black rubber, I am stuck because I don’t know how you pulled off the white part you said also push from the side, but there’s nothing to push from. Your video at 05:45 needs to be re-shot please because now I’m stuck with the machine I pulled apart and cannot complete because the white part won’t come out as easy easy as yours flipped over

Hi there I’ve just gone through the amazing video. However I have a slightly different problem - looks like the motor is stuck with no power. I’ve disassembled my machine and completed the first half to remove the top. Just about managed to complete that with “lid” opening about 8-10cm. Put it all back together and started on the bottom but the sleeve won’t go high enough to remove. Any tips??

I wanted to reactivate my Vertuo and so I bought some pods. Then I wanted to rinse the machine and it was clogged. Thank's to your video I could fix it. Very nice walk through and explanations. If it is possible to fix then you should try to fix it. Better for the World, better for your wallet. And now that it is fixed, I can spend all the saved money on coffee😅

I use AquaSeal all the time. I love the stuff. If you put a bit of vaseline on the threads and put it in the freezer, it will last for years (I buy the bit 8oz tube). But I no longer use it for valve repairs. It just isn't as reliable as the "FixMyKite" self-stick valves, but it does stick to the bladder enough to make it nearly impossible to remove well enough to do another repair when necessary.
