What's the size of rods used in the columns please? 12mm or 16mm? Which would you advise for a 3 bedroom duplex?
@civilworks8262 ай бұрын
16mm from foundation to decking, then 12mm from decking to roof
@civilworks8262 ай бұрын
For a duplex (3, 4 etc bedroom) , the most size for columns is 16mm even though 12mm can be adequate for some columns. However, you can also have 20mm rods of you have long beam spans
@muhammadsani1292 ай бұрын
@@civilworks826 Thanks so much my I had initially used 12mm for all the columns almost 20 of them and some 3 sets of blockwork has been casted already. Can you please advise whether we should remove the columns and replace with the 16mm even though the building is only G+0.
@civilworks8262 ай бұрын
@muhammadsani129 if the building is G+0, then 12mm is very adequate. There is no need to change it
