I've made 2 of these so far and they are brillant so easy to make. Are there any more sizes to make for bigger children like 1 year or 2 year olds

Hi I absolutely love your tutorials! I was wondering if you'd be able to make a tutorial for a small vest.. I'm trying to find crochet clothing tutorials for my jellycat plushies❤️🥺
@karenscrochetchannel503415 күн бұрын
Firstly thank you for saying you love my tutorials 😊😊 secondly what size plushies would you like the vests for please?
@al1c1a-15 күн бұрын
@karenscrochetchannel5034 honestly I'm not sure, the sizes for the plushies are found online on their website if you'd be able to check, the website is called jellycat (I believe its a uk brand) my plushies are huge and large size according to their website. And it doesn't necessarily need to be crochet vests, it can be any type of clothing❤️
@karenscrochetchannel503415 күн бұрын
Thank you for the information, I've had a quick look on the site and can see the sizes so I will have a thorough look and see what I can come up with for you ❤️ one more question though.... Do you have the animals such as smudge fox and smudge bear??
@al1c1a-15 күн бұрын
@karenscrochetchannel5034 so I have 2 bashful bunnies in large and huge. The issue i come across a lot of the time with crochet tutorials is that they don't take jellycat shoulders into consideration.. they have very small shoulders, so adding like a "slit" with buttons to close it in the back of like a vest or sweater would be ideal. A cardigan would be nice too! Honestly I'm so grateful you're looking into making a pattern, it means so much to me (and my bunnies too)❤️ if you'd like i could maybe send pictures or measurements if that would help?
@karenscrochetchannel503415 күн бұрын
The information you've provided is brilliant, thank you. I've found your bashful bunny and I can see all around the bunny. I see what you mean about the shoulders so I will take that into consideration 🤔😊🐰

Thanks for your pattern. I think it's an amazing 👏 idea. My granddaughters are a year apart, and they were always very close. I bought them exactly the same blankets when they were born. As time went by, when they came to stay, they always got their blankets mixed up. If i thought of that, it would be helpful. To put their favourite characters on their own blankets. Now, they still have them at the age of 23 and 24 years old. I might think of making blankets for secret messages for special friends, actually xx

Ok, I've spent all day viewing, crocheting, and frogging. I finally realized THERE IS NO OUTSIDE PETAL to connect the individual flowers. Now I have definition. Helps to work along with the video instead of thinking I got this and it comes out wrong.

Lol it’s funny you say ppl who crochet always give their stiff away! My mom has been crocheting since a teenager and she just taught me, again, how to so I want to make her something and she needs a new pin bag so I’m giving this away!! 😩🤣🤣 Thank you for making this easy for even a beginner to follow! You earned my subscribe!! 💞💞

Karen, I was searching on how to do a tie back for my curtains and came across your video. I absolutely, completely, love listening to you! I have just started teaching myself how to crochet. I haven't done it in at least 40 years where I had been doing granny squares and making little small things that my grandmother had taught me. Well, she showed me how to sew, knit, and do various things when we were kids because she thought that even boys that we should know how to do this. Well I got very sick and hand many surgeries. I am a very hard worker and Used to doing hard manual labor and every time I try to do something around the house I end up not being able to keep moving and put down for a couple days after that. So I thought all of a sudden why don't I try to crochet again and, I absolutely love it! With being so stressed out all the time I find it so relaxing and comforting to just be able to put the TV or the music on and crochet with my dog at my side. I'm surprised that how fast I have picked up on it and I'm making a sweater right now for my dog and it is turning out great for the first thing I've ever made and am going to finish! Lol. But I am going to save your site so I can watch all your videos and learn learn learn. Again sitting and listening to you is just like sitting right next to you and just wish I could talk to you back and forth as we do it. Thank you so much for making it so easy to learn! ❤

Hi Timothy, thank you for your lovely message. It is so true that crochet relaxes and destresses us from life's challenges. I do hope you're dog likes the sweater. Will you let me know when you have completed it please? And will you let me know what colours you chose too? Thank you from Karen 🐶😊🐾

Thank you for such a well explained tutorial! For those who are still struggling at the beginning, I started with a magic circle instead. No chain, just stitched 4 singles doubles directly into the circle. And put a stitch marker on each stitch to locate them. Because that clump ball was so confusing 😅

Thanks Karen for this next size of these adorable shoes. Hope you are feeling much better 8 years on! I made the petite size. I'm a just retired teacher, & appreciate how very good a teacher you are. Hehe I chuckled at your dirty hands comment!. As if my dear, and on that note, I really like your lovely natural hands with no distracting painted nails as we are working along with you, so thanks.
