Why would you continue to keep a coach with a losing record?
@MB-xq9hu8 күн бұрын
We don't have basketball coaches anymore... We have recruiters/Salesmen in College and guys that want to be friends with players and stroke their ego in the NBA... That's why this is the last Olympics gold we will have for a while, and why basketball is dead in the US... I haven't watched an NBA game in years, and picked up Rugby as an option besides king sport Football, Hockey and some baseball...

The US was up by 23, not 29 at the half. And I'm going to posit that Jordan probably didn't have 19 pts. 11 rebounds and 9 assists in 12 minutes considering he finished the game with 20 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists in 28 minutes. But he sure makes the story sound good.

Probably the greatest all-star game ever. Legit nba gods dr j, kareem, larry, magic, mj, m malone, olajuwon sharing the hardwood. With other greats like parish, nique, barkley joining them And coached by two of the greatest as well, jones and riley

I played under a coach who was a hard ass but fair in the 70s. Coach Knight was not for everyone but he made sure you went to class and graduated. There is n denying he was a trend setter as a Coach in his philosophy of the game.

He was one of my favorite ball players, especially when he was with the Mets and the Cubs. No, I don’t think he should be in the HoF, but if he were a better defensive player who drew a lot of walks, there would be a strong case for his inclusion.

Dude was MULTI talented, could hit monumental home runs, and, AND, could strike out like a mofo. One of the most entertaining players to watch: 1) Rickey Henderson (also the best baseball player ever) 2) Reggie Jackson 3) Dave Kingman 4) Pete Rose....
