The ily dolls that are at target are by Jaks pacific and that’s why the eyes are different. Some targets have the mini Disney store inside and you can get the Disney version and jaks pacific ones there while they are available. The jaks ones usually come with two outfits unless it’s the budget one like the one she showed with painted eyes. They are also available at Walmart (jaks)

I really hope that the ily4ever Disney fashion dolls aren’t going anywhere. I think the painted eye dolls are just easier to find than the Disney store inset eye dolls. I would love to find out that there is just a new wave coming out and not completely discontinued brand

I found a doll at a thrift shop. She is a 20" blonde bride doll with a signature and paperwork. The doll number is 28/500788. Her name is Dorette which is a soft standing doll with rooted hair. That's all the information I have besides series III in 1990.

I love the ILY line. The Disney store dolls were always hard to get in Canada, but the ones made by Jaaks Pacific are at Walmart here (also the 18” dolls). I like inset eyes too, but the Jaaks dolls have Saran hair vs poly, and better joints. They also came (now some don’t) with a 2nd outfit, so the value is better. I would say the clothing is pretty good quality: more like older Barbie than current Barbie. There is a Mickey Mouse one with micro braids and a red “leather” jacket that I just adore.

I hate to hear that Disney World is no longer selling the ILY dolls! I loved seeing them the last time I was there. They are beautiful and I love the textured hair. I agree with you about the inset eyes. Great video and I'm glad we have so many great dolls to choose from!

Hello! I have a question to you as a doll expert: I am going to order my first bjd doll and I am not sure if I should invest in body blushing. As far as I understand, it does not stay if you play with a doll, like change clothes and touch her on a regular basis. How fast does it vanish though? Does it vanish completely?.. I was also thinking to ask the artist to put a little shimmer on some parts of the doll body, but does it stay at all?... I would appreciate your feedback ❤ And thank you for all the videos and doll education, I learnt a lot from you 😊

I had Mia and my older sister had Kerry probably around very early 70’s. I remembered Kerry being taller I didn’t realize there were so so many Crissy dolls! I loved them and was so sad my toys were given away to my younger cousins who had a flood and lost everything and who knows what happened to them after that. My sister and I took meticulous care of our dolls and toys. I really loved watching this video and learning about all the dolls.. precious memories and now I want one again! :)

Every Sunday we would watch the Wonderful World of Disney on TV. They had a small clip of this Small World Ride in the introduction before the show came on. When I grew up I got to go to Florida and go on that ride myself. I had my husband take me 3 times through that ride. I was thrilled!!!

I got my first comment on it from a restaurant worker. She said she didn’t know whether she loved it or hated it. She said she considered dolls to be “creepy’. Ha. I told her I was a doll collector. She said she found the logo to be cute, though. Ha. Hopefully she’ll change her mind. lol😂
