What a perfect doll for you!!!! She is beautiful and so very cool! I love seeing all of the outfits that looks so much like the outfits, Princess Diana actually wore. Princess Diana was before my time as well, but I went to a phase where I was obsessed with the 80s. So I definitely got to see some cool pictures of her and learn a bit about her.

Very interesting! Question- do AG collectors just not use the dolls to represent 9-year-old characters anymore? For adults like Princess Diana, do you imagine that the doll is just a stylized adult doll? Or are you picturing this as a preteen dressing up like an adult? I've been wondering about that for a while.

I see her as more of a piece of art not as a real person - but I would think of her as an adult and not a child dressed as Diana. I think it's a very broad statement to say do AG collectors not see them as 9 year olds anymore - ofc all my original characters are still the 9 year old canonical characters. It's just fun to customize dolls IMO.

I meant more like, as an art piece, does it matter to you that she doesn't have an adult face/figure or is it like the generic cloth and leather bodies on dolls from the mid-19th century- where the clothing sets the character's age, not the body or face? Sorry if I came off as hostile; it's not meant that way at all! I'm just a very Adult Doll Must Look Like Adult purist in my own collection, so other perspectives are always interesting.
