First, your art is beautiful!!! Thank you for the video, very helpful as I research which printer to buy. I design pieces with pressed flowers and would like to make nice prints of them.

Why did you choose the 550 over 600? I’m not able to find the difference between these two printers to justify the cost difference?

Hi ..very helpful video! I had a question about how to digitize a larger piece like a 40' by 30' painting. Is this possible somehow? Thanks

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am a new mom of a 1 year old, stay home 24/7 and trying to build a business with no income. All my artwork is tucked away and I have to bring it back to life and sell some prints to all the people all my life have loved the art I've shared but never made it available to them. I'm hesitant to buy a really good printer with my business credit card since I've already got so much machines and still haven't made anything back. This video hit me in the center of my heart because Art is my path and I hope I can make my own beautiful prints like you do. The big leap is scary and time isn't waiting for me to make money. So, thanks Annie for your time and love.

Great tutorial! I've had my Epson P800 for 6 years now and love it. I use Epson Cold Press Bright paper and the prints are identical to my original watercolors when viewed side by side. I use the roll attachment for 99% of my prints - it's worth the investment! The roll paper is much less expensive than the sheets. Epson is also fussy about the 13x19" sheet paper (it's a known issue), but the rolls consistently print perfectly.

I wonder if you would speak to how to put together a portfolio of work. Are there general guidelines that a newer artist should know?
@simplyinthesticks3 ай бұрын
I never would have even thought it but, after listening to you here, I think art licensing might actually be for me. I love creating so many different styles and types of art that it might scratch my itch in that part of my artist journey. I definitely have a personality that is open minded, patient and flexible. I've been in process mode the past two years creating what inspires me and honing my painting skills. A couple of questions that I thought of was did you get approached by an art agent or did you seek one out? I have gotten spam from what looks like a possible art agency but was only a way for them to get more followers etc. Which leads me to my second question and that is; Is there a resource that exists that lists reputable art agents and or their agencies? Now that I am typing this out I am also thinking is there certain criteria or pitfalls to steer clear from when dealing with an agent and also what is a type of licensing deal you would or have avoided? Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom! It truly means more than you know! I also love your ethos on not knowing when you will post next. Be so proud of that boundary you created. It often takes people a lifetime to get to that place of not giving in to the social media pressures of constantly posting for fear of not being relevant. You're a great example to so many of us and I love it!!

My question would be similar to what you said other people ask you. I'd love to see a video on what you consider a portfolio ready for licensing/behind the scenes of the portfolio you send out (or would send out if you were just starting out pitching for licensing). Especially including digitizing your portfolio...assuming people don't really view non digital portfolios much these days?
