it's not even utilizing the whole gpu. I guess if you have a cooler it can be 60fps and winlator have to be able to utilize it

@@creamy77 It's not utilizing whole gpu because it is cpu bottleneck. And cpu bottleneck is not 100% cpu usage, it could be that translation/game is not efficient in utilizing all 8 cores and game is bottlenecked by 3-4 cores that work on max load

You should try this with some of the performance mods on NexusMods, theres one that removes most of the grass, you would probably get a few more FPS

As you may noticed, gpu load stays around 50%. Therefore i need mods that would lower cpu load otherwise i won't get any performance improvements

Удивительно, но такое ощущение, что игра у вас каким-то образом стабильно работает со strongmem=0, именно так я получаю такой же фпс как на видео, но только секунд на 30, потом вылет... Со strongmem=1 игра работает стабильно, но фпс ниже на 5-10, что критично. Непонимаю как удалось столько выжать, мб есть какой-то секрет ещё?) У меня тоже SD 8Gen3 и частоты на макс ставлю

@@Jump768 это вы точно заметили за strongmem потому что здесь я использую модификацию box64, с менее агрессивным strongmem 1. Что-то типо strongmem 0.5. Работает нормально только в Elden Ring. Резиденты например начинают зависать как при strongmem 0.

@@consoletantreviews8181 This game engine works in such a way that if there is a dip below 60 FPS (e.g., 40), the game starts to run in slow motion. Since I can't maintain a stable 60 FPS, I’ve locked it to 30 FPS.

@@ignorantslave663 dxvk hud with frametimes for seeing if frame pace is good. if you could include power consumption & cpu utlization it would be great too. elden ring is cool. i saw you running bg3 & it was cool too. & i think games with lower cpu req would be best for test on winlator glibc.

@@deathnote561 I had to do this test of RE4 HD because I haven't found a proper one on KZbin, and this game deserves it. I usually use devInfoOverlay, but since this game's CPU/GPU usage is low and it runs smoothly using only 2 CPU cores, I didn't bother with overlays and just wanted to show 30 minutes of gameplay.

@@andr0n дело не в турнипе, а в троттлинге. Я тестил 3 устройства на ген 3 (iqoo 12, OnePlus 12 redmagic 9 pro) и только последний может держать 30 кадров в сложных локациях, другие же опускались до 20-25

@@projects9166 Witcher 3 goty, gta 5, re7, nier automata. It's hard to name the best emu, but winlator glibc is good option as it is easier to deal with and it has good performance overall.

Games that are still in my steam list of unifinished game that I can play on the go like: Castlevania LOS2, Darksiders, Skyrim, Mad max, pretty much every Prince of Persia games, Psychonauts, Stacking, Kingdoms of Amalur, AC unity, En Garde! That's the ones on my phone at the moment. The waiting list is long....

@darkzs3126 mine is rooted. For redmagic it doesn't do much but for other devices it will allow to disable some limitations for max frequencies/temperatures etc

Are you using that wine? Or the another one say for wow64 users Wine 9.4 build for glibc native This was built with Github Actions believe it or not So essentially this is a fixed build which is working just fine. It's for non WoW64 users.
