I would say that this depends more on your screen size and budget. If you are using a 22 inch or larger screen, go with the LW. If you are using a 13-16 inch laptop screen, you'll be fine with the MW

Does anyone have a problem where the iPad doesn’t actively show what’s happening on the pc? The iPad can control the pc but what’s happening doesn’t change on the iPad screen it’s just stuck on the screen it was connected with?

@ I fixed it by just unplugging and replug it a few times although it gave weird error messages on the pc saying unable to make connection, and device unable to support screen capturing but it seems to be working alright. I think it may have something to do with the resolution settings

Cool! Yeah, unfortunately I couldn't get my serial version of this working. I tried with an adapter, but no luck. Maybe I'll pull it out of storage one day as a display piece on the wall

@EyekooDrawsStuff did you set the com port to a low number? Com1 or com2? I have yet to try this (it's an intuos gd 12-12) but with other devices who have an rs232 interface nothing worked until I remembered to change the port number associated with the adapter. It was com13, and when I took it to com2 it worked.

Oh that's no problem at all. Head over to www.wacom.com/en-us/support/product-support/drivers and type in the model number for your tablet (usually found on the back of the device).

Ha, personally, I wouldn't sell it. I'd probably still want that reliable backup in case i misplace my pen for my main tablet, or it bombs out or something. But if there's no need to hang on to it, I'm sure a young digital art student would be stoked to get their hands on it

I had CSP for almost a year, but since the availability of the Companion feature wasn’t very clear on their website and I couldn’t use the program on my Android phone for free, I hadn’t been using it. After watching your video, I was excited to give it a try, and the experience was fantastic. The remote control feature is incredibly easy and useful! I did encounter an issue when I first tried linking my phone, but after about an hour, I resolved it by unblocking CSP in my Windows Firewall.

tried this on the ipad pro 10.5 inch with the usb connection and i feel like it's still a little bit choppy for me. Like the actual inputs have 0 delay it's just the image that's choppy, as if it's at a lower framerate. Does this happen with newer ipads as well or is it because the limitations of usb2.0 on the lightning connector?

Hm, that is a good question and unfortunately don't have a helpful answer. I've only tested on the 2020 12.9" Pro and the 2022 version, both of which connect via USB-C.

@@EyekooDrawsStuff unfortunately the display mode doesn't matter, after turning up the stabilization settings in krita and painttoolsai the experience became much more usable though, so i guess this is what i'll have to work with until in can get my hands on an usbc ipad to test my theory

The touch gestures will depend on the drawing app you are using. You can check the application settings/preferences for a Touch gesture section that might let you change them

Good video of how you can use a tablet to draw on the phone. I am able to draw directly on the phone using the Paintology app and use just one brush with opacity setting. My artworks are often mistaken as done using traditional materials.

Worst thing you can do to this one is scratch the drawing surface otherwise it's unkillable. I switched to huion cause wanted a bigger size and to try that 8k sensitivity.

@@EyekooDrawsStuff Inspiroy giano. It has a huge drawing surface and it's the main thing for me. Of course there is a difference to sensitivity and ye it could be just some spring trick and I had some problems with the pen so the relaibility is not on the same level.

@EyekooDrawsStuff i'm kind of having the same issue, touch aint working. I'm using windows and touch is enabled. I tried zbrush and ps but nothing. weird thing is, I got the ipad from a frnd and on his it works so it might have to do with something we aint aware of? I tried connecting it via usb and wireless but it aint that either

@@pulkitjain7645 Hm, have you tried any other apps? Does scrolling web pages with touch work? Older versions of Ps had touch as an experimental setting that you had to toggle on if I remember correctly. So if you have an older version you might need to find that setting.

The nib will last a long while because of it being rubber on a glass surface. It will still wear down over time but this should be very slow. The case is just a cheap one I picked up from Shopee, nothing special

Do you know if there is a setting in CSP where the app doesnt let me draw with my fingers and just with the pencil?? I place my hand on the screen while drawing and its being a little (very) bothering🥲

In your CSP Preferences, go to Touch gestures. There is a setting Use tools with finger. Disabling that should prevent the accidental touch input

That behaviour was actually because of using a slightly magnetized flooding stand underneath that was interfering. Think I mentioned this in the pi bed comment. But still good going with purchasing the Gen 2. I am working on my review of that right now actually. I really like it

So how do you get to show up the display of your iPad on your desktop monitor or laptop monitor? for me it only works the other way around. I can see only my windows device on my iPad, not the other way around.

You can't do that with EasyCanvas. It's only to extend the PC display over to the iPad. For sending your iPad display over to computer you could try Airdroid cast. Never used this before. I really want to buy this Samsung s9 FE. On your video, you used HMDI to connect on your pc as wires connection, so does it mean that this device is capable of using HDMI as second screen?

I used Second Screen, and Miracast from the PC. If your computer supports wireless display and has wireless direct, then you can use the tablet as a wireless extended display. To use a cable, you need something like EasyCanvas, which lets you connect USB-C to usb-c

Three seconds in and we get to see the awesome Eyekoo art/computer setup. Looking really nice! I noticed our favorite mando character on the desk as well. And we also get a look at some recent paintings. Very nice art! The input lag on any drawing display would drive me nuts since sometimes I sketch or crosshatch fast. But for people who draw slower this might not be too bad. Great video!

Haha, thanks, DPO. Trying to be all neat for the video. There's normally a lot more chaos going on there with multiple devices spread out when I'm in testing mode. Haha... I'm definitely more on the slower side when it comes to drawing and painting. But for you and Andy, I can imagine that input lag being a problem. I'll be sure to spend a little bit more time showing some painting as I get back into a good groove with the videos.

(This is my other account, not any random answering) i hope i explain well enough: In CSP you have a toolbar right above the canvas, the first icon (on the left) are three horizontal lines, and right next to it at the right there is another that looks like a finger touching a tablet, I pressed the little arrow pointing down, -> touch gesture settings (a menu opens) look in the left options and select “tablet” and if “wintab” is selected, select “PC tablet” thats what i did and worked! Hope it helps!

Im planning to buy a drawing tablet next year in my birthday month, but, I'm still having a little doubts and unsure if it will work properly in my smartphone cuz i hear there are few tablets that doesnt register, or it fails to work from the working ratio in landscape (and worst part, im more into a landscape drawing, and even some apps (like Rough Animator) are built in landscape in the app itself permenantly. So i wonder if it still works, or there are specific tablets that works for it, as the tablet im planning to buy is either huion inspiroy rte-100,or this vson drawing tablet, Depending where i can grasp on.

Hm, as far as I can tell, that will only use a small vertical section of the tablet in it's regular landscape mode. Perhaps it's worth looking at one of the XPPEN latest models, The S640 (same price roughtly) which appears to suit the phone in landscape or portrait mode while using the full area of the tablet.
