I bought this tablet out of curiosity too.. ( n also because i found one in ebay at a very low price, sold by a tech reviewer right after he finished reviewing it) For me the tab is fine for media consumption and normal usage...however, my two biggest gripes are : 1) it is still using android 12. By now u would expect it to roll out newer android versions..13 at least if not 14. For me this is unacceptable given that the tablet is quite new. Updates seems to be nonexistent. Which is sad.. but i guess it is not too surprising given that seems to be the case w many chinese tablets from smaller companies. Still, i am sad to see huion slate 10 is stucked using a very barebone and old outdated android 12. 2) the pen is ok-ish. Not bad but not great. As u reviewed already.. line quality n responsiveness sometimes can be a miss. It is missing the quality u expect from huion when it comes to drawing. Instead it feels like a generic tablet w a pen that had Huion logo slapped onto it. I really hope huion will address these issue especially 1) regarding the updates. For issue 2) i guess it is what it is. I can live with it using it only for light sketches etc

Yeah, it's really not what I would have expected from Huion in 2024. Only having Android 12 isn't too big of a deal (Magic Drawing Pad is also only A12), but everything feels a bit bulky and outdated on this. I hope to see them try again and partner with a better manufacturer next time to make sure their own pen tech is supported. So far I've really liked XPPEN's go at this. But I'll get into that in another video

@EyekooDrawsStuff totally agree with you. Why I am raising concerns regarding lack of android updates is..I am having problem with the huion tablet when using some drawing apps: 1) Infinite painter (wont load at all) and 2) Ibis Paint (u can draw but u cant save ur artwork or timelapse video due to permission restrictions. the app can't write on folder : storage/emulated/0/Android/data/ ) I'm not sure what is causing it since my Samsung tablet has none of these problems. I wonder if u encountered any of these problems? I was really hoping some form of updates from Huion to fix these issues

this huion is kind of dissapointing but also interesting, only time will tell if there will be more USI stylus that could make it worth it as a modular tablet.

Sure, we might see USI styluses improve over time, but I don't see any reason to go with the Kamvas over a Galaxy Tab S at a similar price.

Thanks man, your video help me a lot in my journey searching about tablets/displays. In your opinion, is there a tablet that have similar quality of a medium/entry level display for less than 450$?

Glad the video was helpful. At that budget, take a look at the Galaxy Tab S9 FE if you looking for a standalone device. Might be able to pick up the larger FE Plus for a good price around Black Friday. XPPEN's Magic Drawing Pad is a better option than the Kamvas Slate, but the Galaxy Tab S9 will give you better all-round performance.

Can you use different Huion pens on this?
@EyekooDrawsStuff2 ай бұрын
No. This does not support Human pens. I have a review up on my website of the Magic Drawing Pad which would be a much better choice than the Kamvas Slate 10, but it does cost more

@@EyekooDrawsStuff yeah i was choosing between xp pen and samsung tab or even Lenovo Tab m11. Thanks.
