I remember I just had my wisdom teeth removed and was on pain killers when I saw the news. I didn't know who Sparklehorse was and this was the first song I heard. 14 years later I have all his albums on vinyl. I was hooked in that moment. Mark understood how to utilize the silence spaces in music like no other. His songs sound ghost tapes from the other side.
