Awesome video guys n gals. Next time you have to tour Cape Perpetua, and stay in Winchester Bay at Windy Cove. There is Winchester Bay lighthouse near by. We lived in the harbor for over a year it is an amazing place and community.

Would you recommend this brand? Or have you tried other brands that do a better job at keeping your hands warm. I want mittens for skiing and would like recommendations. Thank you.
@BRAMANTEBROTHERS3 күн бұрын
I would say these gloves are a quality product. Some people are saying that they are not warm enough. I feel they work well for me though. This brand also offers battery heated mittens. That may be a good option for you. I have another brand that is good quality, but the battery life is terrible (maybe lasts 1 hour)

Ha! I binge watched your channel right at the start of Covid to get totally caught up from the beginning! You’re stuck with me after that. I’m the one that contacted Zach & bought 2 t-shirts & 2 mugs to help you out! I probably need a larger size now or a sweatshirt. Still plan on coming to stay some time!

Hi, Joe (and Zak). I came across your channel a couple of days ago and I'm bingeing away! I love it. When I got to the episode where you made the Covid move to Palmer - I started to chuckle when I recognized Pioneer Peak. I live in NJ but my brother lives on the other (Palmer side) of the Butte. He's been on the Butte about 40 years. Pretty much built the whole house himself. My wife and I love Alaska and hope we can get there one more time...

Hello. I have these hand warmers and I have a doubt about safety. The pan I use to heat them up can I use also for cooking? I just want to be sure that I can use the pan to cook . I thank if someone can answer that, I could find an answer for that question on Internet
@BRAMANTEBROTHERS12 күн бұрын
That's a good question. I can tell you that I do heat mine in the same pan that I cook in. I am not going to guarantee that it is safe, but I do it. Using a Teflon non-stick pan is not good for us, but most people do it. Now, if one of the pouches leaked while heating, then maybe that is unsafe.
@constantinoVino12 күн бұрын
Ok. Thanks for answering. I also think there isn't any problem to do it, I also do. But I still question my self about it. If I do find an answer to that I will write it here 👍

Try adding sawdust to your potatoes while in storage.
@BRAMANTEBROTHERS12 күн бұрын
Just spruce sawdust from our firewood? Thanks for the tip 👍🏻
@crockettsinak.129012 күн бұрын
@ that’ll work. I use shavings from my planer and sawdust from my chainsaw mill. A layer of sawdust a layer of potatoes and so on. Works for carrots as well. They still need to be kept in cold storage. Also laying your potatoes out with the dirt still on them for a week or so helps harden the skin for added protection 👍🏻
@BRAMANTEBROTHERS12 күн бұрын
Thanks, I'll have to try it. We do cure our potatoes, like you said.
