7:12 when soldering, you first heat up the object and only then add solder. If not, all the resin in the solder will literally have gone up in smoke before it touches the wires and your solder won’t flow properly.

Could you assist me with installing the rear camera?
@zulupenman21 күн бұрын
Hey Gavin thanks for popping in and also thanks for entrusting me with your purchase if you've purchased the Carpuride's unit I always take great pride to my recommendations especially on this products. In relation to the rear camera installing if you watch this video it's entirety covered.. you'll notice that I do the full installation of the rear camera on the BMW118i hatch taking you through every step what to do so watch the video you'll see it's in there ....and that is the best way to do it simple easy and you need no skill set just some time probably 25 to 35 minutes to maybe 50 minutes if you're novice. Let me know what vehicle you have and I can give you more advice about maybe running the cables for that particular vehicle, let me know how you go it's in the video all there just watch the whole way through it's a long video but it's in there, awesome let me know cheers Andrew
@zulupenman21 күн бұрын
But you will need the Carpuride's actual rear camera when you order it and you'll need their particular camera input plug that comes with the Carpuride unit... that plug that goes into the their head display unit it's a 3 mm tiny male camera plug and it doesn't work with every other competitors units.. every particular other head unit from different supplies as they have different combinations of the lines on that make plug.. which clicks into the female port on the units themselves... so .. you need to make sure you matching the Carpuride male input plug with the Carpuride rear camera jack... matched with a Carpuride head up display unit ... look.. I tried on a previous installed existing rear Camera it didn't work with its already pre wired plug .. even though it was the correct fitting 3.5 mm plug and it was connected to the existing rear camera it just didn't line up and match up with the Carpurides unit therefore I've got no signal... but all I did was take off the RCA plug and plug in the Carpuride's full lead and camera plug into the main existing wiring.. it all worked :) hope that helps let me know cheers Andrew

Hey Fredrick Spot on I didn't realise I get so much flack from that but had to at least give Jamie some kind of credit ...because he is an amazing ambassador to the company, congratulations on the Taj model you'll love it I'm 94 kg you'll be surprised how much it floats you so buoyant... but not only that no bruised ribs anymore you can surf all day ... and not after not surfing for months and it just doesn't hurt your ribs... @zulupenman I hope to have some waist high waves today to test it! I'm excited, I got it to replace a 7' 60.5L Quicksilver foamie for small and weak days. I also have an Ocean and Earth MR Twin Epoxy Softop at 5'9" 39L, that thing is awsome in some decent waves, from waist and up if it has some more push. It has a fibre glass/epoxy layer, so basically stiff like a regular board but soft top layer that doesn't need wax as it's some type of croc skin pattern. These O&E Epoxy softops are really nicely made!

@zulupenman2 ай бұрын
Hey Kenk ;) thanks for coming in and asking a great question, and sorry for the late reply three weeks old now I'm so sorry, first of all yes you can watch KZbin by the "mirroring feature" by mirroring your phone to the unit. you just also put KZbin app on it you can get the KZbin video playing on the big screen straight from the CarPlay optional app I'm pretty sure, in terms of the BMW logo boot up screen there's two ways to do it one) you when ordering ask them to load you custom boot up wallpaper you make they can do it for you at the factory you have to send them by email prior .. must be a correct size photo size dimensions of the actual boot up file (photo) you want and I used the" resize app" to get the photo to the right resolutions they want ... they'll tell you the dimensions ...To make the boot up screen you just go ahead and find any BMW logos you like etc... and use an app called "eraser" which erases the background and makes it a "mask" logo ... you can then put that mask on any background carbon fibre anything you want white black etc... you can resize at pinch and Zoom make it how you want and you do that through an app called "InShot" so with those three apps you can make your beautiful logo boot up screen wallpaper.. and then you just attach it to an email and then they load it for you prior to Shipping to you ... you can also do it after if they send it without your custom logo.. by watching the instructions (video) they give you on an email (essentially you put your logo on a thumb drive and you push it into the unit and then turn it on.. boot up the system and it automatically then loads up with the new boot up screen.. you then take the thumb drive out and every time you boot up now I'll have your new logo in.. ... I'll show you that in a link to a video I've done how to load that boot up screen once you acquire the unit with the Carpuride factory logo on it. Let me get back to you on this thread and I'll work out how I can let you that video maybe I'll send a link to a Private video on KZbin you everyone can watch to see how to do it hope that helps it's a fantastic product great great robust Unit you'll be happy cheers Andrew⚔️

Thanks for the comment, if you mean two hours riding on a single charge... absolutely :) depends how fast you're going but generally two hours most Electric Skateboards get easy hold of two hour range sitting at 35 km/h however this is a slightly smaller battery so I'll probably estimate travelling around CBD streets around 20 to 25 to 30 km/ hour would easy last a whole two hours of riding range cheers Andrew

@zulupenman3 ай бұрын
Hey bansheee sorry for the late reply thanks for popping in and giving us your thoughts look they're both great Boards I'll be honest I haven't ever ever owned or reviewed an Acedeck .. had a couple of issues with one model with a couple of my US subscribers asked me about buti couldn't help them as i hadn't reviewed them... but generally they seem to be pretty sound company and board .. but without a doubt I thoroughly tested the Verreal Boards and I can put my hand on my heart and recommend these boards and say they're the best boards for a liability and performance and price.... I've still got every Verreal I've reviewed got seven still... they all get full range full Battery and the first RS are nearly 7 years old that's a testimony in itself Batteries are the most important aspect it's the EBoard longevity of a board. This ultra is at the next level and without a doubt it's money for value at a really ridiculous price i've just done the long range distance test and it's come up as a channel record so this battery is unbelievable and I weigh nearly 100 kg in terms of hills ...there's nothing that can compete with these 6374 kick ass motors that give it any sort of issues in fact there's so much power for most the steep hills, one hill I ride in Balmain is 40% incline and it takes it so easy without full throttle .. impressive board definitely get yourself one ..if you order through my link I'll look after you as a ViP subscribers etc.. great back up and make sure you will be looked after for the order and delivery et cetera again I'm just helping people get the right board because there's so many dodgy companies and boards out there hope that helps have a great day let me know how you go cheers Andrew ⚔️

Let me know how you go with the one wheel but they are great for the beach and soft sand too those one wheels be sure to check out the Ultra long range coming up next week have a great day Fern cheers Andrew ⚔️

@zulupenman2 ай бұрын
Hey Kasey, so sorry for the late reply I've been so busy and I've had some accident issues falling off my electric skateboard LOL okay do you have a BMW118I hatchback ?? do you have that same pop-up I think it's a Sunglasses storage area or for tissues or whatever in the top of your BMW dash ? If you do ... ok .. what I did was lifted up the door and you'll find this unit fits perfectly in the open drawer as it sits in a little rebated area at the bottom... now to make it stay there close the door back into it .. all I did was bring the top down of the glovebox door back down against the up of the Carpuride unit it lines up pretty much perfect... it I simply used two bits of sticky black material gaffer tape ... cut very small and thin to just attach to the door and the Carpuride unit.. was going to use hot glue gun but this was far better method holds solid doesn't move and you can't really see it... it's a bit fiddly to sort of put the thin bits of tape onto a small 6 mm of the Carpuride unit and 6 mm on the door to hold it in place.. but you just use your hands and fingertips and you get it on pretty good.. that holds it there permanently it won't go anywhere... and it makes the top of the glove box drawer slope back from the screen.. looking like it's part of the unit of the car and built-in factory look.. it's pretty nice design.. of course it makes the glovebox Sunglasses holder area now useless as you can't access it now but that's a trade-off you have.. let me know here if you got the same Bmw same Dash and same pop-up Sunglasses holder storage you'll find this model Carpuride fits in perfectly ...it's like meant to be let me know how you go thanks cheers Andrew

Hey mate. I went and bought an Astra G with the Z18XE engine. It has 185,000km and it had an ecu replacement at 130,000. I’m gonna use your helpful info to develop something for it! Steve sold his salvage business, but does he has a website for his products? Cheers from NZ

Hey J big shout out to New Zealand :) and thank you so much for popping in, congratulations on the Astra G it's a nice vehicle and it's a great engine hundred percent would advise anyone who's got the ECU mounted anywhere in the engine bay to use a Steve Emanuel design heat defector and vibration damper kit .. honestly makes such a difference you'll get twice a life out of these ECU's, I've seen worse ones BMW and some early saab had them in the door / wheel well and the wheel arch getting water on them so doesn't matter where they put them there's always going to be a problem unless in the dash, okay yes Steve has sold his business correct but I'm pretty sure he's got an available option to order them from his email I'll just find his email shoot off an email and see if he's answering them .. that and it works otherwise I'll give him a call and find out what's going on if he still got the Bakelite and the adaption kits so you can make a custom mod for your Astra I'll get back to you here I'll find out and I'll send you the email I've got which is this one : [email protected] Let me know how you go and I'll get back to you here or PM me on Facebook messenger thanks Jay cheers Andrew

Great device but the mount is too tight to remove easy. I don't want it on show if I leave my car in a dark place and it's too much of a faff to keep taking it of and on everytime you get in the car, it won't fit my Toyota Yaris or my sons Honda jazz as the dash is high.
@zulupenman2 ай бұрын
Hey Sonny, thank you for the appreciative comment because this is important that I attach answers to any issues people have so greatly appreciated. I do agree these Carpuride brackets do click in quite hard and tight.. click out quite hard too .. that is a good thing if you're permanently putting it in place on one of their many attachment bracket systems. However, if you're going to have to remove it regularly for safety of being stolen etc.. I would recommend doing a slight modification to it ...with magnetic connectors, what you can do is use a Dremel tool and possibly grind off the little hooks on the main bracket and use high-quality contact and get a magnet set up on eBay and just glue a magnet on the bracket and then on the back of your Car ride, I know a lot of these selfie stick things online come with a self adhesive magnetic ring that you attach to the back of your phone.. and they are unbelievably strong you can't get them off once they stick to the back of the device in this case the Carpuride unit it'll then snap on beautifully stay there and you can pull it off with the magnets... I'd have to advise you do a modification if you want to be taken off regularly, the other option is ...if you don't click it all the way down hard it doesn't lock in on the hook system ... therefore you can lift it off easily ... it is fine and won't bounce off and when you lift it off it comes off easy without snapping it all the way down in place hard ... you could rest it in and it will still stay there for 99% of the time, make it easy to lift off later at night let me know how you go I'll be interested to hear thanks cheers Andrew

@zulupenman3 ай бұрын
Pay Robras ;) thanks for your comment greatly appreciated. I kind of beg to differ I tell you why 👍 if you're talking about Direct gearing like what they're offering on a lot of the main companies now ...if that's the case absolutely hate it ...it's grinding it's noisy it doesn't have the flex in the belts ... so might have the power in the direct torque ...but you haven't got that real beautiful feel of a belt drive system ...with a belt drive system you have flex between the motor and the belts that give I'd much much more spongy feel than as Direct Drive gearing system.. and these motors are dead quiet it's like a direct online drive system, like the Tranzite boards.. which print into the next point if you're talking about Direct inline Tranzite setup or like the 1:1 motors with wheels attached on the side..100% agree zzz they are better again ...but absolutely not with those clunky gearing cogs gearing like the Propel boards they are the most annoying and nasty little buggers out there and quite frankly it feels like you're driving a tank sounds like one too, certainly if you have a chance to ride this Ultra Rob .. be blown away it's super smooth whisper quiet super powerful and it's just proficiency at its best ...and what it does I was really blown away, that's my opinion anyway let me know which power train you're talking about what drive system 👍 awesome

Hi Andrew good to see you back and thanks for the review. As an owner of an RS max which has almost 1000 trouble free km on it I am a verreal fan. I can appreciate the performance upgrades of this one but I really don't like the look and finish of this new deck. It looks like it's been cut out with a jigsaw for a highschool woodwork project it's all angles and square edges. I am prob a bit old school in my tastes but I much prefer a full grip tape job and rounded edges on a deck.
@zulupenman3 ай бұрын
Hey Genie ;) so much for awesome comment, made my day. It's great to hear another testimony made from an RS rider these boards are peppered throughout the world and they're getting up to 3000km's on the clock with no issues they are first class builds ...., I call them the Toyota Corolla's of Electric Skateboards so incredibly reliable.. they don't miss as bear.. . That's wonderful I'm so happy you've found the right EBoard and I must say ... it's my "go to" EBoard as well for most occasions ...it's just so safe and reliable for my life in its hands. How's the carve on these things just incredible aren't they. I tend to agree with the deck you it is a bit edgy in fact SmoothStar surf skates gone the same way with a square cut edges on their decks now too .. it seems to be an industry direction I prefer also the old school curves but it does grow you the stick and it also is a really nice size it's a tad smaller than the RS pro and I'm loving it if you need a smoother backup EBoard i can highly recommend getting one of these Ultra's another few notches cranked up on the RS Pro well ...probably a lot of notches cranked up .... super uber smooth and precision take off and braking and incredibl speed controller on where it comes into its own as hill climbing with the 4000W per motor could take any hill with full acceleration and "bite" you can still have plenty of room accelerate up a steep hill on the throttle whereas usually your using full throttle on most of these Electric Skateboards on a steep hills ... even the big brand names, thank you so much made my day my man 😀 have an awesome week more to come Long Range Distance to be bloody epic cheers Andrew ⚔️

Hi this board IS good quality,? Thanks
@zulupenman2 ай бұрын
Hey Urban Board ;) thanks for popping in look I've had the Osprey Board now for over eight months I've used it all the time it certainly is a good quality board the only thing I say is that the two interlocking overlapping telescopic carbon fibre decks which are forged carbon do present a rigidity and a slight stufnness when riding so you haven't got that bouncy flex Timber deck feel, I found the high speed was a little bit jerky in some situations especially on hills so I find that the Med speed is better all round.. for all conditions other than that it is pretty much faultless except for one other Achilles heel ....and that is ...the on off switch on the top truck ... can get dust in it and gets a bit sticky and then you have to blow it out with an air gun or air spray can.. and I also think if Water got in that area it works sit there like a little swimming pool you would water damage the switch... it's probably not the best place for an on off switch on the top of the deck ...however a good hack that is to push blue tack all over that area .. it and just leave the blue tack there when you're not turning it on and off ... or storing it.. keeps the switch clean and it works beautifully and waterproof it's well ....otherwise highly recommend this Osprey Carbon Eboard it is a nice piece of engineering hope that helps cheers Andrew

@zulupenman2 ай бұрын
Hey Oz Dog :) great to hear from you thanks so much for your question, when you mean the Stoke 2 .. you mean the Evolve Stoke the new second version correct? Let me know if so the Stoke it will probably not support all terrain 6 inch pneumatic although the deck really doesn't give you a lot of clearance of wheel cut outs.. on an all-terrain wheel your best option would probably be to jack it up with rises and that probably defeats the purpose of the design of the Stoke ...but I think you're talking about the Evolve Stoke , correct? Hey hey! Thanks Howie, did you notice I was wearing something unusual yeah looked down at my feet, they're brown crocs LOL ...yep crocs are the best footwear to ride Electric Skateboards in .... why because ...you got movement within the crock and the crock sticks to the grip tape and does not move an inch...no shoes do that ... and it's super spongy 1 inch to one 1 inch and 1/4 pure Soft spongey Rubber the best ever for long range or riding generally, I thought you'd like that ... a little hack there lol

Hey Jim great to hear from you fantastic you got the bronze medal third comment !! fantastic well it's going to be well worth looking at this is one powerful stealth unit .. be something that will transport anything including 130 kg rider and do it with ease power and performance... not to mention style plus it's not a super huge chunky board I don't give too much away it's a beautiful piece of Engineering so far ... so let's see how it goes...

I just got a set of 4 for my Meepo v5 (they have a few options for Meepo boards now). I cant wait to experience the difference in stability and shock absorption. I only had the board for about 4 weeks now and I love that I pulled the trigger on it. My commute will actually be FUN now. Great video. I am now subscribing to your channel!!😎🤘🏼

Hey UncleRuk :) wow thank you so much for awesome feedback it was a lot of work with that video and I love these Cloudwheels so that's great great testimony thank you so much🙏 Well congratulations on ordering what I consider are the best all around urban wheels for Eboards especially for corrugated concrete rough roads and city riding that really nearly rival 6 inch pneumatic tires !!! . I use my Meepo TeamGee and Wowgo with clouds from 120s to 105's and they are literally the bees knees, I do prefer them over having to worry about air inflation tires and punctures...and they really as I said in the video "blindfolded you think you're riding a 6 inch pneumatic tires especially on the 120s ...it'll change your life 😁😄 from a street wheel you are in now... literally won't believe the difference it's on believable quite incredible best money spent you'll ever make let me know how you go with them and be careful putting those screws in just be gentle don't cross thread them follow my instructions 👍 you'll have no problems well done have a great day good to have you aboard on the channel 😁 there is a new Electric Skateboards review coming the brand-new Verreal "ultra Board" which is going be my first electric skateboard review in about a year so it will be epic ... make sure you look after your battery 🔋 always keep it at 60% while storage .. never to 100% for more than a couple hours before a big ride and never bring it down too low to > 10% keep it in that range of 40 to 60% while storing and never leave it charging it without watching it ...have an awesome week cheers Andrew
