I refer to this video now and again because we make these at home and if I don't follow this recipe exactly (I'm not good at following recipes and usually do my own thing) they are never as amazing as her's. Your cooking is so amazing and over the years my son always says it's the best dinner he ever had! Thank you for making these videos!

I'm confused about the two and a half hour cooking time. I'm about to make this for the first time and I don't know what to do. I think I'm just going to cook it for an hour and a half

I tried making this recently, and my sesame seeds seemed to give off a very earthy taste in the end. Can you think of any reason this could be happening? I toasted the sesame seeds and they were fresh. Maybe I should try buying the seeds from a middle eastern store?

Beautiful, I love your videos but please change the name, this is not boshala. Boshala is a soup, made with few herbs, some rice and yoghurt. This one is Girdoo, and you did a nice job, I’m going to make it tonight. Thank you for sharing. Azista

Hello. Delicious recipe. It's nice to write your recipe ingredients in the description box below your video. When it says more: it means the information about the ingredients.

That was quick. I do the stirring for two hours on medium heat method but I use Italian rice and break down the starch to thicken the yogurt.

I know some families do make it different. Some don’t do the black tea just water or some use cardamom powder. Ive heard of people using ghee instead of butter. 🤔 ghee sounds good lol
