Hey when you add flares on a corvette it's not a wide body.. a Greenwood or Ecklers wide body is a true wide body not you fake blame

Corvette bodies were made to be modified. Lowering, fender flares, spoilers, hood bulges, wide wheels/tires. Bad boy mods.

At least he seems to have some driving skills. I like it. The flairs are pushing it a bit but it's not just gawdy bling and looks like a 'vette that still corners good.

In the words of Rav: Given enough time and attention, an artist can turn any pile of scrap into a supercar Personally, when I got retirement, I ain't getting a mustang, or any fancy smanshy sports car. All I want is a nice small house, a Dodge Ram for daily runs and a widebody C3 Corvette for formal stuff, racing, and for fun. Screw the new Fords and exotic cars. Classic american muscle from the 80's for me

Because race car not wide body🤣 in racing the bigger the tire the better aka steam rollers. Fender flairs where just to cover big wide tires🦾

no match, to porcha, ferrari, merc, lambo, USA cars were science rocket tech. its so sad that car technology of today is so crap , that after 8-10 yrs just erase them from the street, they unroad worthiness. these cars after 60 yrs still drives like a rocket. i think its the german due to their supposedly evolution has brought shame to car manufacturing

The saying is all wrong it's "Promise what you can't deliver" and the vette has never had that problem except maybe the late 70's early 80's cars and the first vettes that had straight 6's Also corvettes deliver more than what they claim whoever says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about, The SNS vette did 10.6 second quarter mile times IN 1969

An easy product to use is Dettol (one source is EBay at 12 to 15 USD - some with no shipping). Its made in Egland. Its a bacterial soap for first aid etc. You mix it with water at a 1:1 ratio. Poor it in a plastic or metal pan large enough to cover the model in. Let the model sit for 8 to 10 hours. Then scrub the model to remove any remaing paint. Rinse with warm water and dry. Suggest using gloves. When done poor it back into the bottle using a fine strainer. It will strip both enamel and acrylic paint right down to the bare plastic. It doesn't bother glue or putty. I have used it on two models with great success. Its a miracle!

345-15s are the old Lambo size. They look too short for this body style. Time to put some 17s on this lady, or better yet some 18/19s with 295/345 Viper size tires. I do like the old centerlines. Check out the 17" 506s.

@@CarFanMan there's pics of the 69 dodge dart gt-S that my dad and i built in the early 80s( in my google pics) in 1983 we were turning 10.3@137 mph with full interior, stock suspension, pump gas and on the street tires. just the way it was in the pictures. (it's in grey primer) when we sold it, we had put on a dual 4 intake and kept it under the hood. we ran 2 carter avs carbs(avs are the best, simplest, most reliable carbs ever made!!) unfortunately the pics of that intake were lost in divorce/moving. so all we have is the one with single carb. we had to have this low(er) dual 4 intake because we did alot of street racing at that time. and if ppl saw carbs sticking thru the hood, they'd be much less likely to race, especially for money. that dart was one of our 2 favorite cars we built together. as good as the dart was. as fast as it was, it always drew a crowd anytime we went to the car wash, gas station etc. but our favorite car was a 67 Plymouth belvedere 1. it was a bare bones base model. 2 door post. we got it from an estate sale in California. and believe it or not it belonged to an old couple that didn't drive much. it had 23,000(might've been 25,000 i don't remember for sure which it was. but definitely low miles!) it came with the 273 w/2 bbl carb. we took it out and put in a "hp 440" and the 727 trans. we used a .540 lift purple shaft cam. duration was .317. that cam had a nice crackle! dad and i did everything ourselves on that belvedere ourselves. which is part of why it was our favorite. i'd sure like to know what happened to both those cars
