To secure the butterfly fasteners it would be better and more professional to use threadlock. If one of those nuts or screws finds its way into the cylinder it would do a huge amount of damage to the engine.

I don't think the engineer who designed this could have made it more complicated. I removed around 30 screws and still struggled with the airbox lid. Ridiculous . I'm guessing that they hope the consumer just gives up and brings the bike to the stealership

Sorry but your video missed something important, the steel plates the one side is different from the other, do you know that? maybe you have done damage allready, if you dont know how is better to go to find someone who knows.

I installed this Dan Cãtan Throttle Body Rebuild kit myself on my 2000 BMW yesterday The task was quite simple, and only the removal of these original slide bearings, which had been in place for over 20 years, was a bit of a challenge. It was difficult until I realized that an 8mm bolt sawed into a 20mm slot on one end would work very well as a bearing removal tool ;-) Also, I noticed when disassembling my own BMW that the pulley ends didn't have the shims Dan Cãta described that I had to find elsewhere, so the mounting shoulders for that axle would have been perfect for another installation in the future. Otherwise, this operation was easy to do, and the end result now completely satisfies me. Different from the way of making this video, I myself used the old bearings as a "spacer" according to Dan Cãta's advice when installing the new bearings, as well as a long 8mm bolt that extended completely through both holes, so the chances of failure were minimized when the new bearings were hammered into place. The original problem was the TPS which I could not adjust to the set margins under all conditions and now works 100% fine.

Soldering the board is not a permanent fix, the whole board should be changed with a more reliable circuit board to feed the LEDs. LDD-500HW is what you require.
