Unpopular opinion: I'm not freaked out by these at all. Sure, some of the portraits could have been better (Temujin does not deserve this disrespect), but overall I like the style and the fact that the leaders change outfits through the eras. Also, another unpopular opinion: I love Joan d'Arc being a badass modern military woman. It absolutely fits her.

La verdad sería bueno que en una futura entrega volviera el detalle de que los atuendos de los líderes y sus respectivos fondos pueda cambiar según si está en la época antigua, medieval, industrial y moderna. Lo que si es que ahora tendrían que ir con una mayor precisión histórica, geográfica, cultural y si el líder era monarca, militar o civil.

This game made my childhood. I love it ! So iconic. Mods made his life way longer too :) Sadly the most recent civilisation where not as good, really sad IMO because the gameplay from civ3 was perfect, just needed more mechanics and improved graphicals.
