What if my camera not formatted?

So am I right in saying that this makes the ISO work in the manual modes in the same way as it does if you were using auto mode on the camera? And on a completely separate note, would this camera work well with a longer lens like a 300 or 400mm?

Hello i have a nikon l25 and lately when i take a picture with it and try to see it it writes “the file contains no image data “or “the memory contains no images “ i tried taking off the battery and the sd card and turning it off and on and i also changed the sd card but all of these didn’t work and i tried to look it up but no one talked about it can you please help???

I used for the first time today (Aug 10, 2024) a new Canon 32 Card bought online eBay - and for the first time my new SX70 Canon - and for first time ever after I take one photo the message on camera reads card full so I formatted as I've done all the years - and then took 3 pictures and same message and cannot take another photo in that situation? So maybe card is not genuine?

My FORMAT option isn't even working! It all started with a memory card error. So I bought a new memory card. Same thing - Memory Card error. Now my FORMAT option has croaked. How do I fix the FORMAT option?

Yes, none of ur 10 methods worked on my Canon A550 PowerShot w Sandisk Ultra 100MB/sec, 64GByte SD card. It just kept on showing "Memory Card Error". All of ur 10 methods didn't work. Swap and try w another camera method confirmed that my Canon A550 doesn't like the hi capacity SD card as i'd suspected bc. this Canon model is issued like 15 yrs ago. Re-Formating via the A550 n same w my PC failed w the same error msg. No, my comprehensive manual that i had to buy separately didn't whow the memory limit amount. Found it works w 16GB n 32GB SD cards so dat's it. The bigger 64GB card will b used for my Digital SLR big camera only. And yes, the 2nd new identical 64GB card behaved the same way for both cameras. I liked the A550 vs. the Panasonic Lumix bc. the former is more compact, can stick it in my shirt pkt, fits my men's small handbag, EZr to operate. And, i can use the standard AA batts(2) vs. specialized more expensive Panasonic proprietary re-chargable battery. But the AA must be Li-Ion Energizer to shoot 100+ shots vs. 32 shots for Alkaline batts. Hope my above findings help this audiences too. N, thx 4 ur video making. Subscribed n thumbs upped. PS: If a card gets full, it won't work. It'll just say: == Memory Card Full Full of what?

Thank you. MY error that the sd card was locked even though it was unlocked. I just removed it and cleaned it like you said! now it works!!!

how can i backup the photos if it wont let me open them before formatting? i either format and lose all my pictures or do nothing and lose them anyway?

i tried them all but none worked. Ive had two micro SDHC cards just randomly stop working. One was brand new and was working, then just stopped working second time i turned the dashcam on. The other was some gaming stick. But could it due to poor quality cheap micro sdhc cards being used by the seller?

Video is nice, but by saying the other camera as 'toy camera' others will be infuriated.

Hi Barry..that was a really informative video...I was a bit surprised when I saw this as I requested you for this a couple of weeks ago and didn,t think that you would have time to make it.....Thanks I,m positive that this will help many people especially the editing....I had NO idea that you could use Photoshop !!!...I have dipped my toe into timelapse recently with variable results...it,s a big learning curve.. I wonder if you could use two Circular Polarising filters as a variable ND filter ? maybe I will try this at the weekend ....Cheers for now keep up the good vids

Just a question, if I shoot in RAW then edit the colour/light in post-processing like Adobe, lightroom or photoshop can I then convert it from RAW to JPEG post editing on lightroom/photoshop? Many websites where I upload my images have a file size limit so need to make them JPEG. Thanks.

it is not the SD card. The same card works fine in other cameras... Could the problem be with the camera sensor switch? The camera keeps telling me that the SD card is locked even when it's not. All I have tried is a few blasts of compressed air into the card slot on the camera. It is a Cannon Powershot Elph 360HS... Leaving it off for a while is not working.
