Thanks. My wife and I were shown this trick by a Peregrine tour guide on a trip to Antarctica back in 2005. Saved out gear then. Still works. 😉

If you don't have a lens hood you can tie an elastic band over the end or hair tie to keep it in place aswell

Great ideas! Would this type of bag be suitable for scuba diving in shallow water? Just bought a canon and it doesn't say waterproof but it doesn't say it's not waterproof neither.
