Whenever Andre says "I dabble" when someone else calls him out on being artistic, that's kind of funny but its also interesting. It's even more interesting that he won't ever admit to his being artistic. His answer is always the same every time. "I dabble". He should just plainly admit to how brilliant he is since everyone else at that table knows it.

That’s why he says “I dabble” sometimes the more humble you appear the more power and gives you. Major Andre was a master. Of course he will just yell you “he dabbles” 😉. Peace be with you my friend. Sincerely yours, Neil 🇺🇸✝️🕊️

@@Washington-y8n Thanks. Drawing is a very difficult skill to perfect, and, often, takes years to get just right, particularly when one is self-taught, like Andre was. Often, being skilled in drawing is genetic, particularly in the cases of those who are self-taught. Like John Andre, I'm artistic, self-taught, make a lot of drawings, and can draw just about anything. Although I don't look anywhere even close to my actual age, I've been drawing for almost 40 years. So, no matter who they are or were, past or present, I've always admired, and I always will admire, anyone who is gifted with drawing, whether self-taught or not. Anyone who has successfully perfected one's skill with drawing, self-taught or not, always winds up an extraordinary individual in one way or another. Past and present alike, there are and have been many well-known painters and even sculptors, however, those who are/were particularly skilled with drawing aren't recognized on the same level as painters and even sculptors are. They really and truly just don't receive the same amount of respect and credit for their skill that they deserve and they never have. Perhaps that's a particular phenomenon which may change someday. Again, drawing is a very difficult skill to perfect, and, often, takes years to get right whether one is self-taught or not, and, it's an extremely difficult, artistic skill. I believe it to be an artistic skill of which those who are particularly experienced in, should be recognized on an equal footing with painters and sculptors. Still, even if others have a different opinion (which is totally understandable), I agree to disagree.

@@Balt0cat1983 I have the upmost respect for those who can draw. Especially people. I decorate my house with landscape paintings, they are my favorite. I’m a gardener and I have flowers all over my yard. That’s the only type of art I’m good at. I cannot draw to save my life. That’s why I respect those who can do it so much. I think it’s absolutely amazing that some people can take a pen and a piece of paper and draw a persons face and make it look just like a photograph. Or draw a chair in the living room and make it look just like that chair in the living room. I wouldn’t even know where to start to do that. Turn is one of my favorite miniseries. I absolutely love history. I got elected to the Stroudsburg Borough Council when I was 22 years old. I love public service. Anyway I’m getting ready for bed. It’s been a long day. Nice chatting with you. Peace be with you. 🇺🇸✝️🕊️

He was almost crying. Peggy had no idea what she lost. John was everything Benedict could only dream of being! John was artistic, he could play the violin AND the flute, He wrote a song on the flute just for Peggy, and he LITERALLY gave her a piece of himself when he cut off his braid. Talk about a heartfelt gift! John was super angry here. John handled his anger like a real man. Benedict was immature and would explode whenever he got angry. They're 2 completely different people. John was more than worthy of Peggy. Benedict didn't deserve her. It's all so, so sad. I'm writing a fictional book that will give John and Peggy a happy ending since this literally made me cry.

John and Peggy are talking and when she starts to walk away he just grabs a hold of her and kisses her. He literally has to bend over to hug and kiss her and he doesn't even mind! It's some really, REALLY intense, deep stuff. Now, THAT is absolute love right there.❤

John and Peggy are both wild cards. They're just talking and then Peggy says something that absolutely shocks John and then Peggy is equally as shocked as he is when John grabs a hold of her, pulls her in, and gives her a long kiss. Wow. Just wow. These 2 are both absolute wild cards.

My fave is when he mounts the horse and takes the reins from her and in effect reining her in or wooing her at the same time and it conveniently brought her right into spooning position. Then he leans in and compliments how tough and skilled she was on the shooting range🥰 if that was my husband before he was my boyfriend, I’d have been done😍
