I bought my mother one of these. It spent 35 years in Nevada where it was bought originally (We have the original window sticker with the Z24 California Edition Convertible Package option on it so we know it is a legit one). It is white has 3-speed auto with blue interior. It cost 17895.36 in 1986. They only made about 300-400 depending on who you ask. Some people who buy the cars originally say there were only 300. 100 white, 100 red, 100 black. You are correct most of these were automatics. They had every option available installed on them.

I just did a swap on mine from 2.3 to a 3.0…I got everything switched over and hooked up now it won’t turn over… what all electrical did you have to change over? I know the engine is good cause it was running before pulling out

not sure if you're still active but i could really use some help with this radio out of an 08 silverado. i took out the chip and connected all the wires but it won't stop cutting off after 5 or so minutes. is there a fix?

Rusty the Century probably has a bad transmission mount. That would cause a hard shift also. Digging your channel.
