Which seams do you mean? I've not had an issue with them sticking up. The flares should fit quite tight anyways so that it shouldn't make a huge difference :)

The long seams down the legs. But probably it's just because my fabric is quite thick.

How do you cut your fabrics? There is a very convenient way to cut them which usually uses up a lot of fabric, but I always try to place them as efficient as possible which creates less scraps but takes more time. Cutting on fold for example usually uses up more fabric than necessary

It's quite a quick sew! I'd say about 3-4 hrs including printing and assembling the pattern, cutting the fabric etc.

Hi :) so for the side seams you can still use a straight stitch for a nicer finish as they don't need to stretch. But for the seams that go sideways you'd be best using a zigzag stitch (unless your machine can do a stretchy straight stitch then absolutely use that). You can also get stretchy thread and use a normal straight stitch on your machine :)

Some machine also have an overlocking stitch which would work really well :)
