James Dean in "East Of Eden" and Eric Roberts in "Star 80" are the twin titans of film performance. I've seen each film LITERALLY 200 times over the last 40 years. I'm NOT kidding. Thank you SO MUCH for talking to Eric about this astonishing role....!!!!!

Browne is inconsistent on a number of points in his book and this interview. For example he says Bundy was held under armed guard in a Hannibel Lector type cell in Florida, yet a minute later says Florida officials didn't know who he was and that at most as far as cops knew he'd only committed misdemeanors. So why all the armed guards, etc?

An argument can be made that Eric Roberts in "Star 80" is the greatest performance given in 100 years of film. SERIOUSLY

This chicks story doesn't jive! She opens up with how savvy she is by bribing the locals in Georgetown to let her make collect phone calls home to her family. She also says (In this version of her story) that she can mail letters. So why does she risk her life by giving a letter to JJ's son? Another problem with her story is that she has her mom come to Jonestown, I thought she was terrified and in fear of losing her life, why would she bring her mother into that dangerous situation and get them both trapped and killed? Lastly, when her mother got to Jonestown , JJ wasn't even there! He was back in the States! So, just leave.

This is 100% wrong they are jealous of Maharshi Mahesh Yogi that is why they are writing like is because no foreigner has created such an impact on public especially on Americans and in British people as Maharshi Mahesh Yogi did he even made the great Beatles as his disciples and made the Western world more jealous that how can an Indian Yogi can be the master of their favourite singers that is why they are jealous and making false rumours about Maharshi Mahesh Yogi 😊

Yulanda is right on point about all the cults, I hope those who are on the left realize that - because otherwise we're in a lot of trouble. All those politicians she mentioned who protected Jones were on the left. Everyone one of em.
@memorymedia61882 ай бұрын
Yulanda's story is compelling and I can only pray that people learn from this horrific experience. Its wrong that she called it "racial" genocide. Socialism and collectivism knows no race. Anyone else notice that the ONLY govt official who went to help them was a White Republican Congressman - the same kind of person who socialists always call "racist". Identity politics is a tool of the socialist left. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Sharon didn't chase him away. It was Sharouk Hatami, her photograqpher, and then Sharon came out of the house and asked: "Who is it, Hatami?" Manson SAW her. He then knew she lived there, probably.

We are lucky to have these witnesses still with us, and willing to share their memories and experiences while they still can. It gives a window into a past that most of us could never imagine, and these autobiographies create a very clear view of one person's 'slice of life' of a time in history and culture that truly changed the world, artistically and spiritually. I'm glad that these women are finally having their say, and we can finally hear their side of the story. If Jennifer Juniper was a song that you loved to hear, and wonder what she might be like; now you can know. :)

I disagree with Michael Landon. He should have had him read Farmer Boy-excellent book or the part of Long Winter where Almanzo and Pa first come into the same sphere. Cool details on the correct pronunciation of his name.
