In Minecraft story mode season 3 Jesse would have to go through trials where he would fight an anonymous like character that would try to trick jessy into things like having to use the command block on the ender dragon just like Soren or let his friend's die to secure an actually true legacy not knowing if his friends we're actually with him and at the end Jessy would see a Steve like figure in the backround that was probably character that put him through those trials.

As a bedrock player I can say that mojang still won't add structures to flat worlds. I really wanted villages before 1.14.

i know Mojang doesn't listen because of their "we don't care of what the audience thinks" mentality, but this is my idea of adding the Red Dragon to Minecraft: it'd just be called the "DRAGON"; a *Boss mob* found in caves in the Overworld of specific biomes (i'll explain if asked), summonable by luring it with a Block of Gold. its physical description is as follows: basically the Ender Dragon, but red, and its wings are white with black membrane; and breathes fire. it drops Dragon Scales, Fire Sac, Wing Membrane, and Dragon Heart. the Dragon Scales (dropped by one other monster) are for crafting a new armour type - chestplate and helmet - called Scalemail; the Wing Membrane replace the Phantom Membrane, meaning it has the same functions as it (dropped another monster other than the Phantom); the Fire Sac and Dragon Heart are used for brewing a new potion: Breath Potion (Fire), which lets you breathe fire. there's an ice variant: white, and light grey wings with blue membrane. also found in caves, it shares 2 biomes with the normal variant, and it's found in caves of cold biomes. drops the same materials, save for the Ice Sac, for the Breath Potion (Ice). i know, i'm just giving the Ender Dragon a paint job, but see how i managed to create something new - and arguably good - just by taking what's already there and tweaking it? there's a lot of things i've come up with that use that method. the Fire and Ice mod did it? f@c# the mods! this is based on my philosophy, which is based on the question i asked myself: "how would Mojang do it?"

Now THIS is the Minecraft I grew up with. It was perfect. It had everything and more. Minecraft as it is today will always be inferior to it's predecessor created by 4J all those years ago. There will never be another version of Minecraft more perfect than 4J's, not Mojang's.

Played the ps4 edition of minecraft and it does have a vibe on its own, the best thing about it is how smooth it runs on the console. Now that it turns into bedrock it feels way too off, and sometimes there's a lag spike whenever you put down a block

Honestly personally for me, I'll always take Console Edition over Java Edition. Maybe it's the nostalgia, but Java doesn't feel the same as how I used to play Minecraft on the Console Edition. I'd remember always waking up and being able to just hop on with friends with little to no issue to play around and have fun. People can argue that Java can be modded and such with all their features, but it just wouldn't hit the same like Console would back then.

Minecraft feels so much more saturated now, like gen alpha style, the og Minecraft was so immersive, with barely any menus and when there was they were simple and easy, with random but relaxing sounds, Minecraft was never supposed to be an epic adventure, it was supposed to be a relaxing sandbox, with simplistic graphics which went well with the simplistic vibe, the simple graphics also allowed for so much more creativity, as a block could be interpreted as anything, remember when people thought that songs was cheese? console was my childhood, and when I first played Java I spent ten minutes trying to find where they hid the settings for customizable superflat worlds before realizing it wasn't a thing. I still remember my crappy netherrack base that I made when I was in the single digits of age, and how my sister let me have her base only for me to fill it with whatever cool build I tried to replicate from Stampy's Lovely World, or just cover the outside in fence posts. Even though the world was tiny and I hit the border just by going a few blocks from my house, it was still somehow so big and expansive to me that I never even explored the Eastern half of the map and remember exploring the south side with my brother and getting shocked when some lava we found was turning into cobblestone, only to become more shocked when it turned into obsidian and we spent hours trying to figure out the difference

The Bedrock hate is strong with this one. Now I totally get hating the marketplace, but outside of that, Bedrock actually has a lot of unique advantages over Java. Bedrock runs better than Java and you can push the render distance much farther than on Java. Bedrock has auto bridge building. Bedrock has 1.8 style combat by default. I don't know what you meant about Bedrock being over saturated. It looks basically the same as Java. Console Edition was de-saturated compared to Java and Bedrock. You said Bedrock was really buggy but didn't mention any bugs specifically. The way you talk about Bedrock it sounds like you either never actually played it or haven't played it in a long time. Now I'm not saying Bedrock is perfect, but it is my preferred version to play most of the time.

Eh Bedrock isn't that bad really. It still has bugs but it really isn't too saturated or looks ugly. And the shading is fine it really doesn't make the game look cheap it just looks well...kinda different is all. Also while console had bugs too obviously it was never as bad as it was in Bedrock ediiton. Like yeah Console had a distinct look but that doesn't mean that it looks better then Bedrock Edition. Yeah no Bedrock doesn't really suck and Java sure as hell ain't perfect either. No Mojang does understand that one thing 7 years later. They aren't trying to replicate or copy it and no Bedrock has made a lot of people happy with it's own features and crossplay being a thing with it. So no money's not the answer. There is a bedrock experience and it isn't a lie, how is it? It's crossplay Minecraft.

Remember in the 360 edition when the entire world you could play on was only the size of 1 map so your seed mattered so much more and at the edge of the world no matter what the terrain is it just cut off into an endless ocean
