My goodness…where have I been?? I thought Kirk passed years ago…but it was Lester Bowie…RIP. If I had known I would have looked him up years ago 😢

We've heard these standards before. People have seen and heard Shakespear too. Mr. Davis offers beautiful renditions that are as enjoyable as listening to Mozart's 41st. I play most of these songs, and it gives me pleasure to hear a great musician offer his heartfelt interpretation.

Jesse Davis is not pretending to be a jazz musician like so many fakers out here 😂. Jesse is a great player and someone all should consider checking! The sound on this recording is very good. Nice treasure, thank you Cory Weeds!!!

Wow, this is so cool! I have been looking into Hank Mobley for a few weeks, and he has profoundly impacted my interest in the saxophone. I don't just want to sound like him, I want to become the essence of his sound. Thanks for putting this up!
