I discovered you via Whitney at TomKat Stitchery. So enjoyed the Together we Stitch speakers! I aked a Bernina 730 Record question in David Godfrey comments, but that was AFTER the live presentation. Do you think I might get a response from him? Email perhaps?

Your dress came out beautifully - I have made it a couple of times and mine look a little baggy so I like your elastic tip to give it more shape. Gorgeous fabric and I love that you have used Aussie sewing pattern and Aussie fabric. I will have to take a peek at that fabric store. By the way what is the top you are wearing - did you make it?

Love the dress and fabric choice! I think I would add another tier to it for more swirly feminine feel and to keep the wind from lifting the hem up.

I just learned something new. I literally saw “Elastane” two days ago and didn’t know what it meant. Now I know that it’s just spandex. Thanks for the knowledge.

This was one of the best tutorials I have ever seen! I just got mine this weekend and haven’t had a chance to unbox it yet. I have sewn all my life but never had a serger. I was a little-a lot-nervous, but you have empowered me!!! Thank you.

Was the second fabric you wore a cotton/lycra? Most of my ready to wear is knit, all of my self sewn garments are woven. I need to experiment sewing knits. Thanks for the primer. 🌻🍄

Thanks for your feedback. I have since stopped adding music to my videos as I find for some people it is really loud and others it isn't. You should always be able to turn captions on if you can't hear me well which will help :)

Thanks so much! I have been rather scared of my acclaim, which I have since Christmas. I love that you address even „obvious“ things such as the electricity plug. Clearly one knows that, but it is lovely to just watch a super detailed step by step and follow it as you talk. It is the very best instruction - even much better than the official acclaim youtube instructions by the company itself. Thanks again and happy sewing 🧷✂️🌹

I just want to say. I kind of love that you’re in your pajamas. Makes this sew along feel like your sewing with friends who are sharing their knowledge rather than a strict teacher that makes you feel guilty for mistakes.

haha, I am usually in my PJs A LOT 🙈 Perks of working from home. AND having such cool PJs to wear!! I'm so happy to read you enjoyed it. I try so hard to make it warm and inviting. I am definitely not a strict teacher, I want my students and watchers to enjoy what they are doing. that's why we sew, cause we love it!
