How do you make this without an overlocker? I just have a standard Innov-is 15 sewing machine.

I buy the majority of my fabric from a uk site called fabric giant they always have loads of fabrics for between £1-2 per m fast delivery excellent quality and fab customer service as well

Was the second fabric you wore a cotton/lycra? Most of my ready to wear is knit, all of my self sewn garments are woven. I need to experiment sewing knits. Thanks for the primer. 🌻🍄
