Carol from Omaha, NE, USA: Just ran across your channel. Immediately subscribed. I appreciate your clarity with your sewing process. And your "honest comfortableness" in fitting things suitable for your body. Your top turned out lovely - very attractive on you.

Note to self - when removing inches from the bodice, you need to adjust the length of the peplum to make sure the top is not shorter overall.

One question- when you cut 2 inches from the front- did you cut 2 inches all the way around & to the back as well??
@sewandtellaustralia Жыл бұрын
yes I did :)

I may have missed it - I’m a little hard of hearing - but did you discuss the difference, if any, of the circumference of the bodice before and after cutting off the 2”? Was the circumference the same so the peplum would still work with no adjustments?
@sewandtellaustralia Жыл бұрын
No I didn’t discuss it, but for what I did, I didn’t need to make any adjustments. Or if there was a difference it was marginal. Being knit, it is a little more forgiving and can ‘hide’ slight variances like that.
