Fabulous voice, warm and honeyed, great rendition, however, I wish she would enunciate her words more clearly, it sounded muffled not crisp. Each word must be heard.

I've been going to Evensong at STE for nearly 40 years to hear this Psalm and it still gets me choked up every time. If you go, sit near the aisle and you will hear each vocal part section as they pass you, the vibrations will go right through you along with The Holy Spirit.

First time I've heard this Vivaldi concerto, though I know and much love the Bach transcription for 4 keyboards. Aside from adding a wild, jazzy cadenza near the end of the opening allegro, Bach doesn't seem, as I listen here, to have changed much. Can't say which one I like better. Now I love both.

@@user-Strong.Trinitarian I was Christian when forced to recite this hymn after spending the weekend with my parents having attended a British boarding school. I am entitled to my opinion and this hymn brings back awful memories. Today I am PROUD to claim that I am an ATHEIST.
@user-Strong.Trinitarian14 күн бұрын
@@watchtellyinuk your experiences don't invalidate God. Also you not believing in God doesn't hurt him in any way, he ordained you to be athiest at this very moment whether you'll up in hell or later believe in him is also his ordaination. You're only living out God's plan for you whether you believe it or not. Learn whats in the bible, church creeds and church history and compare it to the people who treated you badly.
