In Dammam... Eastern Region.Saudi Arabia has a train network from Riyadh to the North and the port of Dammam... both passenger trains and freight container trains. And high-speed trains in the western Region .From Medina To the holy city of Mecca.

Going back,Saudi Arabia was always EMD,due to Aramco, and the initial engines were F-7's,if I remember correctly, and later there were export versions of various SD's. Those air filters were not originally used by EMD,as Baldwin built some engines for Morocco, again for mining use,and they also had desert air filters! See, Diesel locomotives that Baldwin built, maybe on KZbin! Thank you,and hopefully this addition will give a bit of missing history! Thank you for your attention! I 🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚅🚅🚅🚅🚅🚅🚈🚈

I assume that the Saudi network has no tunnels or bridges, so that means they can operate whatever they want. Smart to buy North American rolling stock and locomotives, since they have the best freight railroad equipment and infrastructure in the world.
