I bought 2 pack of red gill opriginal 115mm eels. It was impossible to thread the hook through the eel. Total waste of my money and time. I can not recommend; I wasted my money. It would be better if this company threaded the eels for you. Very dissapointed.

They look like nail clipper. The thing with these lures is they get snagged regularly so losing them is common. Good thing they are cheap though.

hi , I have just spent hours on 3 mid wales rivers using mepps and got nothing likely due to very low water but same result in deeper pools and this was in the afternoon so what is the secret please ?

@MrNWLF ive just started fishing the swellies in menai strait. noticed you mentioned the rebel minnows were good there. it seems the local consensus is peeler crab but im keen to fish with lures. so much seaweed though and apparently high water is not as good as low there, so limited to surface and shallow diving lures. do you have any other good lures for the strait between june-august time? any help would be great, thanks

You will find the kast king will preform as well or better than the expensive reels don't be fooled by the price they are as top quality as they come and the spinning reels are fantastic too great drags high ball bearings 10, 12, bearings depending on the reel and the Kodiak saltwater spinning reel has 44 lbs. Drag for stopping fish completely double sealed bearing so no salt or sand gets in them and their baitcasters are saltwater approved
