I fish on a reservoir in Northumberland England and the weather conditions are normally similar to yours I was wondering what weight you lure was?

3g and 5g or Mepps or Vibrax size 1 or 2

Yeah I have loads of mepps and after watching your brilliant video just bought 2 dexter wedges 16g and 28g I normally fish for blue and rainbow trout sometimes I get the odd wild brown I just go to a stocked reservoir 20mins from home. I am during to fish in north Wales I have been to bala seven times.😀

Try scaling down, you can get dexters in the 7g-12g range, these might be better? try various depths and count down, fish are normally in a shoal so where there is one there will be more, good luck.

Thx I wish I could go now but the reservoir is closed until 15th march but I have lots of new mepps to try out. Thx for your help.
