Unnecesary in all dimensions. And honestly. I doubt you sound that bad while palm muting, i think you just did it bad to justify this short.

ls-208 or RE-20 im looking to buy one of them, I have a baritone voice and a semi treated room, but i live with family so it gets loud sometimes. which microphone would be better for me?

Very interesting. What I would probably do is spend time tuning the headphones with a custom EQ profile and then run the test again to see how the headphone mix turns out after you’ve kind of compensated for the things that they would cause you to do otherwise. Eg taking out harshness.

(as a working engineer for the last 31 years) , I was digging the crap out of every moment of this video and especially the interview... right up until you said the word: "SAMPLE"...then my heart sank; and the viewing of this "experiment" became pointless.

lul. Acting like he played on cheap guitars dude those guitars are almost $1000 now sure they were cheap back when they were made but cheap stuff back in the 50s is still better than most mid range shit now.

I dont see why people have such a problem with experimenting. Everyone knows how to palm mute, the amount of angry comments blew my mind.

3 year late to the party. But can you please tell me if there is an SM57/58 with built-in interface? (Like MV7, but lower price) . Thanks.

Listening in nice headphones, that expensive interface definitely sounds a little warmer and nicer, but it's subtle.

So the expensive one adds an EQ. You could literally just add your own EQ in software or get hardware EQ for a few bucks. This boutique s*** is stupid

Yeah. Might be stupid wrong here. But the first one was obviously the rubber bridge and the second palm muting. Both sound great and very different.

I have the sm57, the volume for calls or streaming is always a problem, the volume is low, even if you turn the volume up on the audio interface or from the system... any solution?

Had one of these for a few months now. It pretty much nails the rubber bridge sound and it's a really neat idea. Idk what these commenters are on about, it's really not the same thing.

I'm really curious how this microphone ls-308 will sound with trumpet when usually trumpeters want to get some more dark, smooth sound than this bright sound comming form bell.

I almost prefer the Fender Vintage Noiseless over the OEM V-Mods 2 my American Pro has. It sounds more straty than those “high end” one.

So why not a Beta 57a instead? Surely it would have all the same benefits but sound a little more natural overall.

What makes you like it more than the Generation Loss? Or have you tried that one? It seems more appealing to me from a distance, but I haven't tried either one in person. This one seems more limited and too "subtle" if you've already got other effects to stack and get near what it's doing.

Condoms.
@epluribusfunk514
@epluribusfunk514 2 күн бұрын
I went on a quest to find the best bang for the buck condenser mic for a friend with a very low budget. It had to be a mic that would have a low noise floor, not gain hungry, made of quality, well rounded in lows, mids and highs. I also need a mic that can handle a non treated room or barely treated room. When I went into the local Guitar Center and asked for such a mic the salesman smiled and was elated to show me a recording of his Metal band with aggresive lyrics. He said notice how clear the mic is even with the loud singer. I was impressed that he tracked the whole song with whatever mic it was. He said "Don't be alarmed by the low price of these mics." He then said "Look up as you walk to the mics" he had me close my eyes as he led me to the AKG P series mics. He made me sing loud Rock lyrics and then gentle singer song writer style of singing. I even crooned in them. I liked the AKG 240P and he was like "It gets better" He then had me sing into the AKG P420 and I was blown away how clear and accurate my baritone voice was. He then had his hands covering up the price tags. He asked me what I thought these mics would cost. I said most likely 300,450 and 600 USD?? He said no these are sub 200 dollar mics and they are on sale with the P420 being 159 dollars. The rest is history. I felt like I should have had a mask and gun when I was out of there at 172 dollars. This AKG P420 has a Metal case and a amazingly , mouth droppingly well built shock mount! I will be buying more of these as Christmas and Birthday gifts for my musician friends and karaoke friends. By the way the Rode NT1 sounds good but picks up a mosquito farting from 100 ft away. You will need a fully treated room to use the Rode NT1.

Always funny seeing people say "that's cheating" when talking about a capo or this rubber bridge when they haven't even mastered their instrument yet.
