Parsons is only 245, 7 pounds heavier than what you listed his game weight at. Agreed that he could definitely use more strength to become elite. But pass rushing in the nfl at his weight is entirely possible
@FallBallSportsАй бұрын
Completely agree that it's possible, but it's definitely more difficult. My concerns are more that he doesn't display adequate playing strength on tape like Parsons did. He still has a full season to go tho so that could change

" lesser receivers" shows him going up against other first rounders on tape
@renehouse2015Ай бұрын
Another reason he slipped into the 5th round was he wasn't projected to go until the 5th through 7th and some people even thought he'd slip through the draft and become an undrafted free agent. When you have someone expected to last that long you do not use an early round pick on him. You just make sure to pick him a little bit before his expected draft range. That's what the Rams did, why use a 3rd round pick on him when you can get him in the 5th and not only in the 5th but with their third pick in the 5th.

Attitude cannot be seen in a statistic. The Rams just look at what kind of team member and person they are. Rams see this and fold that into their statistics.

@TheCountofToulouseАй бұрын
It's no accident. The Rams watch TAPE. They look for high character guys, team captains, people that are teachable and motivated, respectful and dedicated. The Rams posted a video of them talking about Puka BEFORE they drafted him, they had BIG plans for him based on what they were looking at. Having a super smart guy like Kupp there to teach him was a BIG help, too. Puka and Rams culture under McVay and company is why he shot out of the gate. Also, having a dart throwing ace like Stafford didn't hurt either.

lol everything you listed to look out for in totality he had a bad grade in, his total grade was 4th round talent at the highest. This is a prime example of landing spot and why having a plan for these players, is so important. That and mentality, i'm sure Nacua is just a hyper competitor and has a mind set of improvement. That would carry him to success no matter what he does. Theirs a reason why after over 100 years it isn't a science and never will be.
@MattMuas97Ай бұрын
This is why the 40 doesn’t matter much. Those drills matter a lot more. This is why I think Keon Coleman is going to be the Bills WR1 and a steal.

Pearsall's Relative Athletic Score (9.91) is better than Tyreek Hill, DK Metcalf, Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, Ceedee Lamb, Brandon Aiyuk. The only Pro Bowl WR ive found with a better RAS was Calvin Johnson 9.99/10. To day Brian Thomas has better upside than an elite athlete like this is absolutely ridiculous
@FallBallSportsАй бұрын
If you use RAS as the sole measurement of upside, then you'd have to say that Tez Walker has the 3rd highest ceiling in the class. Or you'd have to say that Pearsall has more upside than anybody not named Calvin Johnson, which is just stupid
@TheOmengodАй бұрын
White Rice. Nobody thought Cooper Kupp was going to be the best WR in the NFL.
@justinah7400Ай бұрын
Apparently nobody realizes how much of an athletic freak Ricky is. Lol by the RAS/ Relative Athletic Score (pound for pound) standards he's more athletic than Tyreek Hill and DK Metcalf and every other pro bowl NFL WR currently in the league.

One thing I will disagree with is the point you made about his age being a negative. I believe that with a year or two of NFL training/ reps he will only continue to get better. I think the best is yet to come with this kid. Especially at 24.
