You obviously didn’t watch him play beyond highlights or a game or two of film and cherry picked the film if you say he has suspect hands. Dive deeper on some of those drops. He was considered very reliable at Oregon.

How would only watching highlights show bad hands lol

@@Panthers8912 you’re really that dense? Did you not read the whole effing sentence? A deep dive would show that he does not have suspect hands. Guys dissing him have cherry picked film to try and say this. You can find some drops, same as any other receiver. It happens. But if you look deeply at the entirety of his work it shows that he doesn’t have bad hands. JFC.

Chiefs pick him at 32 is my call. I think the chiefs offensive scheme fits his profile. I see him being like a better version of MVS who the chiefs just cut today btw.

Obviously, you haven't actually watched the games he played in... Watching the "TAPE" rarely accurately projects more than 50% of great players' impact on the field. He was a game changer with the ball in his hands and di a lot of the little things at a very high level.

He was definitely great in college -- no doubt about that. But the name of the game here is translatability, that's what the film can help show us beyond raw numbers

Whew. Route running being potentially below average is one scolding hot take. I personally disagree and love the prospect, WR3 for me. Great video though!

Yeah I see why people really love him, and he was a good route runner in college, but I'm a bit concerned that it won't translate the best to the NFL. And thanks, I appreciate the support!

2nd round grade due to size. Would be a perfect fit with the Buffalo Bills who have Diggs, Shakir and Samuel. Replaces Gabe Davis big play ability, but does not block as well.

the route you showed as "bad route running" he got held after he beat the corner

In the process of watching him now, video about him will hopefully be out within a week or so. I'm thinking they'll be ranked pretty close together on my board

I got him at wr 8. Rome. Nabers, Coleman, Marvin, Brian Thomas, Mitchell, and Leggete I have all ahead of him. Doesn’t offer many wr 1 traits. Could see him ending up like Jaylin Hyatt. Not great against the press, and has a route tree within usually only deep routes or screen routes getting yards after catch. Could be a good number 2 wr though in the nfl.

Yeah that's definitely lower than consensus, but I agree with your process and thinking on that. Seems like a safe prospect to me but I'm not sure I see the upside

No. Marvin, Malik, and Rome are the clear top three, Franklin is probably 4 or 5 imo

That's about where I'd put him as well. Currently in the process of evaluating Brian Thomas Jr. and some of the other potential WR4's in this class, they're all pretty close imo

He is more of a DK metcalf who does not rely on routes and release package to beat CBs. Tall, Fast and Strong like DK

I wouldn't. Pierce was open a lot this year. Minshew couldn't find him for some reason. Pierce is also a really good blocker. If we're replacing Pierce, I want Brian Thomas. AR, Taylor, Pittman, Downs, and Brian Thomas has the potential of being lethal.

Yep. It is ridiculous to say this 20 year old kid, who probably runs a low 4.3 with decent hands and routes, has the ceiling of a role player? Hands and routes can improve with age, his frame can fill out, and so he'll go in the first round based on upside alone.
@FantasySportsZen

Yup. I have him no.2. More upside than Nabers imo. MHJ at 1. All 3 are excellent prospects.

Wow that's a hot take! I'd put Nabers a couple of tiers above Franklin personally, but who knows, that could age poorly.
