The camera angle in this video is great - seeing Anna's hands so clearly while she performs brilliantly! I think I know what instrument I should start playing, if I ever start to play one: a piano. And I will definitely suggest this instrument (piano), if in the future a child of mine wants to go into music.

Thanks for this immensely enjoyable performance of a fundamentally jasagend piece. Disagree 100% with the comments on the structure: the symphony is very strictly organised according to principles of cellular transformation (almost everything is present in the slow introduction, from the mysterious chordal progressions in the strings, the rhythm of the flute and the violin solo twittering 4ths, to the horn calls, all of which are transformed in multiple ways in what follows). I particularly appreciate Bantock’s negotiation between abstract intellectual pursuit and the calls of commercial pleasure. I can imagine this as a fun ballet too (some of it I know comes from an early ballet sketch). Thanks again!

Mozart a cet art d'une sublime Maestria où l'on ne voit jamais aucune phrase musicale écrite par lui, rester inachevée où sans réponse... De là l'extrême perfection de ses œuvres.

So this one one my first encounter with the new ad regime youtube forced on us--right int he middle of listening to this piece some horrible add comes on. I have no idea for what for, but does either KZbin or whoever was stupid enough to pay for this add, think seeing it would make me do anything but loathe the product advertised? What Geniuses! KZbin is going to go the way of Twitter. Can't wait for the replacement.
