You could see and hear Floors sister Irene next to each other. They look like each other and sound very alike. Arjen discovered Floor way before she was in Nightwish.

There was a lot of open feeling to this song, because originally it was only made with a keyboard, guitars, bass, drums and a vocal. There were no classical instruments involved. This allowed them to create a good orchestral backing to fill up that open space. You're were on point there sir, but I think the band history is what you didn't know. This was their 3rd album released in 1997, but it was the first one where the majority of songs were in English, as it was aimed to target audience outside of Norway. The first time they implemented classical instruments was in 2001, but some songs had more some had less. Then in their 2003 album, they used an actual quartet (i think it was it was one bass, one cello and two violins) but for their 2010 and 2018, they went full symphonic orchestra and choir.

I must say to you that it is a representation of we as Americans are going thru with the alien agenda. She is remembering a much simpler life. Due to God knows what is on the chemtrails. The big z in the sky. Only the strong survive. The black aka darkness is Like a black mold mixed with a black leach. And it will consume and take over the human body, mimicking the DNA in every natural substance. Something that Ajax won't take out. If you would. 95% of the world is clueless to say the least. I might be crazy but so is the world my friends.

This is actually not a band but the solo project of Kamijo, who is the vocalist of the band Versailles. His voice and signing style has changed quite a bit throughout his career and he also seems to change it up every now and then for different songs. To stop himself becoming bored with his incredible talent I assume :D If you want to make a quick comparison, listen to a song Fuyu Tokyo by Lareine, then Masquerade by Versailles and then Eye of Providence by Kamijo for example. The difference in his voice is massive. His style of music has changed over time too, his solo project is a bit less epic rock opera than Versailles for example and a bit more... theatrical pop rock with a a lot of metal and bit of almost everything else thrown in. I absolutely adore everything this man has ever done but I can understand that not everyone who likes Versailles is going to like his solo work. Although one thing that has stayed constant is his ability to put an incredible amount of emotion into a song. However I agree with your assessment that this particular performance was not the best example of that.

you are right on point regarding fade to black. All the members of Watain are die hard old school metallica fans and this beeing simular in the fact that death greats booth in the end of the song. On the studio album they even fade to black twice 😄once with the guitar solo and than at the very end. The guy who made the solo and are playing in this video Selim made some out of this world amazing music with his band "The Devils Blood" before he left this world in 2014. You should check out that band

This comment comes way late in the game. The "best" drummer is a very subjective topic. From a jazz perspective Vinnie Colaiuta is one the greats along Steve Gadd and many others. From a rock perspective you have Matt Cameron, Josh Freese, etc. SO many drummers that can hold it down but add their own flair. Also Travis Barker. From a metal perspective you have Mike Portnoy. He's definitely a GOAT. Blake Richardson is a beast and one of the very original in the scene. Tomas Haake helped create a genre of metal and pushed a linear style of drumming into the rock and metal scenes. Danny Carey is far from the best metal drummers from a technical standpoint, but his ability to groove and create almost spiritual mantras in Tool's music are 100% to be reckoned with. Nobody approaches the drum kit the way he does. Also, you have the extreme side, Alex Rudinger and Navene Koperweiss to name just two. From a rap / hip-hop / r&b perspective, you have Aaron Spears and Tony Royster Jr. Just to name two. Again, so many drummers that have their own originality. You can add so many names to these lists, but if you search any of them they will lead you to all of the other greats. I appreciate your video, BTBAM is one of my #1s for sure. Thanks again for checking out one of their less known tracks.

I remember Marooned was one of my favorite songs when I first heard that album, and it was because of that keyboard melody under Anneke's delicate voice that I enjoyed it so much.
