Absolutely love this mate. I went to school with Bez and Jonny and have been lifelong friends since. So glad they looked after you. You won't find many friendlier people than those from the Potteries. I also think that young lad celebrating in the video from 25 years or so ago was me as well. Not a Port Vale fan (support Boro), but massive respect to anyone from overseas who supports an English side thats not in the premier league. Would have been very easy to have hopped on the band wagon like many others and picked one of premier league clubs. The football won’t be as flashy most of the time as the teams above, but at least the club means something to you and that counts a lot more than those glory hunters.

Brilliant video. It’s humbling to see someone from 1000s of miles away have the same passion and adoration for the club. The Vale have given me 25 years of ups and mainly downs, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. It’s a special club and thank you for waving the flag over in the US of A!

I've been a vale fan since I was born, and I love it when we have fans abroad that make the effort to come and watch us. Vale is a family club, and with Carol coming in, the club has looked loads better. I go every game I possibly can, even if it is -4°c, I love the club so much. UTV 🖤🤍

Stoke Fan here born and raised, but good on you for supporting a club that's in your blood, many modern fans don't have connections like this, most now support whichever club is winning trophies (when I was at school most kids supported the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd Etc. When they weren't even from there) its good to know that familial ties and history are still making the rounds in the game, You can't choose your football club it's in your blood and where you originate, you could have supported the biggest club winning at that time but you decided Consanguinity, massive props to you good sir.

Great video. I live quite near to Vale Park but I support Newport County. We played there last Saturday, so a chance to have a short trip to see my team. Vale won though, so can't have everything! I wish the Vale well though, they're a decent community club.

Now this is a good reason to support your club. It's either your local or family team. Good on you, i love finding overseas people with the passion we have for our clubs here. Saying I've never heard of port vale, by the way, is truly disrespectful to them! They're a relatively big club. They've played in the second division and an Fa cup semi final, and were formed in 1876- a true staple of the English game. I'm not a Vale fan but UTV!
