Yeah that stuff is a little rocky for a EUC, lower pressure and higher speed would help but it's exhausting. That level of rockiness is absolutely nothing on my electric mountain bike. With full suspension and soft tires I would plow through that at full speed. I have to admit however that since I got myself a V 12 HT my mountain bike has been sitting a lot more ! 😂

And unfortunately shinko don't make 244 wheel for 12" rimm (16" EUC), I'm sure that this wheel is perfect for EUC. Hope some day I can share video from beautiful Carpathian mountains in Ukraine.

How do you like the commander pro vs the extreme? does it feel to heavy compared to the extreme? In terms of torque for start and going? Im coming from a regular sherman v3 with my 140 lb frame makes it hard for me to brake fast.
@rollindirty26668 ай бұрын
The extreme is the best braking euc I've ridden. The commander pro is good to, but not as quick to brake as the extreme. I like them both. I think the suspension on the extreme is better designed, but the commander pro is a solid unit in the corners. If you are worried about body mass and maneuvering the wheel, the extreme is far easier to move around. I like the top heavy nature of the commander pro though because it makes stabilizing in corners easier for me... but I'm about 210 riding.

The suspension is allowing the higher tire pressure. My suspicion anyways. I have a non suspension wheel and maximum pressure would throw me off. I have a shinko 241 tubeless MSX V2 HT 2500 watts. If you're not tubeless I highly recommend. I run 21 PSI. Tire flexes nicely but not too soft. Happy trails M8! BTW I hit 40 mph on the street with my shinko 241 where as I was unable to with a Michelin city pro street tire because of it being too squirrelly. Love the knobby! Way more stable Mable 😎
@rollindirty26668 ай бұрын
I've always ridden at 45psi, even on my other non-suspension wheels. I realize that's not for everyone. I chose to learn to ride that way so I would be accustomed to it. That being said, my rider weight is higher which automatically dampens wheel bounce. If I were 150lbs... I don't think 45psi would be appropriate. The Shinko 244 was squirly at first for me.... but now, I'm used to it on or off road, and 45mph is common. Thank you for watching!

@vtran10828 ай бұрын
I installed the shinko 244..it was a pain to get it to fit and work with the way the mudguard and motor wire was assembled. I also added 3 inch cnc pedal risers, and then it became a trail beast!!! I even do some jumps too. Only wished the side panels was made of something lighter to decrease the weight.
@rollindirty26668 ай бұрын
I'm interested in seeing what you used for pedal risers if you are willing to share. The side panels are made of magnesium... stronger and lighter than aluminum, so you'd have to go to plastic to reduce weight there. Thank you for watching!

This is my fifth wheel and it's the top of the food chain on all levels I ride knarely off-road trails & this wheel is definitely it! Stock pads are the best stock pads I've seen to date but I still have grizzla fairing system and pads on the way.🎉

I went on a ride yesterday on my extreme and I got a rock stuck between the side of the rim and the frame in by the bearing area had to stop & turn the wheel upside down & Nickel sized rock fell out 😮
@rollindirty26668 ай бұрын
Yeah... this is an issue. I've noticed it too... not enough clearance for rocks that the tire will pick up.
@samanderson8069 ай бұрын
Dude there is no reason to run your tire at 45. That's nuts, and it would fix your rubbing issue to take it down.
@rollindirty26668 ай бұрын
While this may be true... I run all my wheels at 45psi. If the tire the wheel ships with states it can run 45psi, I think it needs to be tested, for all the reasons you mentioned. In other words, unless Begode wants to finally provide a user manual instructing the users to run... say 30psi, for clearance purposes, then I think we need to test the limits. The rubbing issue was present at a lower psi too, just not as prominently. It's clear there was some underplanning when it came to the tire and the clearance of the fender. Thank you for watching!

@rollindirty26669 ай бұрын
I decided on the extreme because of the offroad capability, specifically the suspension throw. Honestly, it's better than I thought it would be. If you are going to do more on-road riding, the Patton or CP Mini are valid options, both with their pros. The Extreme is the first wheel I've purchased where I was able to take it out of the box and ride it. Good head light, good pedals, side pads are ok, but better than the other factory supplied ones.
@TurboGlenn9 ай бұрын
For city I'd choose Patton or v14 for smoother suspension, for trails n stairs etc and top speed I'd choose Extreme. Extreme good option for city as well imo due to more durable suspension system where all torque is not taken up only by suspension as on Patton which could lead to more maintenance.
