I have 2 Vintage V-100s. The Paradise AFD and a P-90 version. Crazy good guitars. Gibson tone at an Epiphone price.

This one of those kicking myself moments....because I should have thought of this. I love double-stops of all kinds....but this ;) Thanks for the tip, Brother.

Thanks for this great comparison. Honestly, being someone who loves vintage Wahs, I liked the Venus Witch the most! I know it’s not vintage, but man did this sound awesome ✌️🎸

Sensational recorded tones mate! And very nicely played. This is my fave Vint D video on t’interwebs (along with one of the official TR demos with Austin P.) I have the 6L6 version and it’s great - defo needs a bit of time to get to know it and dial in compared with some of their other stuff tho.

Thank you so much man ! I REALLY appreciate those words ! Honestly I can’t help but be interested in the 6l6 version also - I think the tube sag would be STUNNING with this circuit ?? Exactly you do need to spend time with these kind of amps and not be afraid to drift away from usual go to EQ settings ?? I’d be interested to hear your take on the 6l6 compared to other high end amps ? Thanks for stopping by ⚡️

Great playing and demo! I’m not a lawyer either. I patiently saved money, kicked a few bad habits, and sold off gear I wasn’t using to purchase my two rock. Great tones, build quality, and versatility.

Incredibly sweet sounding rig, pretty practical too, bet it’s really lightweight to lug about and plenty loud for gigs. You see a lot of guys using piggyback setups lately.

I completely agree with the amp being the most important part of the overall tone. Having a great guitar without a great amp is like having all the knowledge and skills in your head of a jujitsu fighter but you have no arms or legs to fight with. Same scenario imo. Great video and tones bro! 👍 ✌️

Updated comment. A few keywords mistakes, lol made my comment unreadable. Just checked it, I was like, “what the hell was I trying to say”. Fixed now.
@JasonHobbsGuitarist28 күн бұрын
How do you like it compared to your pro reverb? Same tube layout, right? 6L6’s? Sounds a little stiffer than the pro reverb. 👍 ✌️
@FretJunkies28 күн бұрын
@@JasonHobbsGuitarist 6V6 ! Was looking for earlier tube breakup ! Defo stiffer than the old pro ! But still has more cushion than any other two rock I’ve played ! The reverb is STUNNING !! I think everything will soften with this amp when you can get some volume under it !
@JasonHobbsGuitarist28 күн бұрын
@ awesome! I’ve never tried one yet. Mostly old blackfaces around my neck of the woods. It’s what I’ve become accustomed to. 👌 Have fun! ✌️

Is it 6L6 or 6V6 version?
@FretJunkies28 күн бұрын
This is the 6v6 Version ! My old pro has that 6l6 openness - was looking for 6v6 break up 😊⚡️
@simeoni48528 күн бұрын
@@FretJunkies Do you feel that 6v6 is a bit tighter and have less sponginess? I am trying to decide between these two versions.
@FretJunkies28 күн бұрын
@ I’ve not played the 6l6. Reason of this model but I think as a rule overall you’re probably right ! Depends what your looking to get out of the amp ?? 6l6 big cushion open road tones - 6v6 honky driven tighter tones ?? At least that’s how I feel about them 😊⚡️
@JasonHobbsGuitarist28 күн бұрын
@@FretJunkies ahh the answers are always in the comments. More like a deluxe circuit then. 👍
@tinkercitymusic28 күн бұрын
Sounds great Richie! I think this amp suits you really well man. It may feel different to not have the "splat" that comes from the blackface circuits but it comes through really balanced in a mix.
@FretJunkies28 күн бұрын
Hey buddy 😊 Exactly that - will take a while to balance those two flavours and not search out that tone in the two rock itself ! Definetly very different to my old two rock studio ! One thing I think I might look at are different speakers ? The tr10s are SUPER efficient which is PERFECT for the stage - but at the minute the old pro is going to be getting all the stage time untill I’m ready to take this thing out - will look at less efficient alnicos I think 😊
