I used this yesterday with 3x3. Dribble handoff options, slip screens, and ghost screens. I was telling my teammates about the different options during and after the games. Well...we stayed on the court.

Video notes- Dont think of what move to use, think about where you want to get to with these tools -Hang Dribble, Retreat, Shuffle, Run-at, Look-off (with rotation) , just go, Creative-- dribble timing, close out attacks, speed changes (that often happen in a straight line)::: Shot fakes, shimmy (off the triple threat), separation to space (the ability to find and to navigate to space with different type of pushouts) Conclusion- Everyone has different things that work for them so experiment!

Amazing video - your point about being assertive reminds me of TJ McConnell, someone who thrives in the 2 man game with his bigs off being smart and quick regardless of his “tools”

Awesome video. Lots of your content has opened my eyes to the value of the simplicity of the game. I’ve started to appreciate simple moves and actions to create small advantages to play off of, especially creating closeouts. This type of stuff really brings out the beauty of this game.

For people complaining that they don’t have 4 people to guard them or any money, just go to your local rec center, park, etc and play some 21 (21 is a game with 3 or more people where it’s a basic free for all)

im not tall, i wish i learnt this at a younger age, i always just use to challenge the big man in the paint. mainly i would challenge him with my vertical by doing a up and under layup. i wish i had learnt the floater though so that if he sees that i use and is effective with it then he would have to come out to contest it which would then leave under the basket clear so my teammate could be there to receive a pass from me..

The trick I learned is just let the sound of everything around you replace your thoughts instead of craving it craving it just puts you farther from being in it.

So I've been in an awful shooting slump lately and I'm trying to figure out why I've been shooting horrible in both pick up and league games. When I'm shooting practice shots I'm shooting an excellent percentage and then I'm getting the exact same shots in games and missing them. It might be mental I'm not sure and it's not like they're heavily contested they're good rhythm shots off the catch that I've been accustomed to knocking down. The other day I literally got shots up for a whole hour right before playing and they felt pure and soon as the game started the same shots I was practicing I was fucking bricking its so frustrating. Worst part about it is that there were non shooters who were hitting more shots than me. And I know what I'm capable of Ive been playing for a while and I've gotten hot plenty of times not too long ago I just don't know what's been happening in the past few weeks any advice would help.

Shift your attention on the spot you want to get to don't think about the steps you we will use to get there your body will take care of the rest that's what you have trained for don't think about the technique just think about the task you need to execute

At 6'7 and not super athletic (24inch vert) I've been trying to add this into my game to shoot over larger more athletic players. I've also noticed that it might be the easiest shot in all of basketball, it's definitely been my highest % shot over the last 3 weeks or so.
