Why not just keep the frame and junk everything else? Get a replacement slide barrel , recoil springs and rods etc

I worked at s&w for 3 years the bodyguards are the most annoying firearm to build I don't know how they sell so many and the parts are so complex and smaller to handle especially they are drenched in oil

For all of you who didn’t know this: there’s many channels on YT just like this one, where they will “restore” a random firearm. 90% of the time they’re just scrapping rust off and oiling it 😂 clearly they rust it themselves and are just re-cleaning it. Bro had a modern mag on it, he’s not even concerned about anyone questioning that (which some of yall did) . And no, he probably didn’t find this submerged underwater lmao. Had that been the case this thing would be bright orange with clumps of rust. Also it would be deeply discolored from the water itself. Moral of the story, stop believing everything you see on YT.

True. Not to mention the mind condition markings. Real, old, found guns would be pitted to shit. Also, considering the welded muzzle device, he could've just felonied himself (depending on where he lives) lol
