Interesting to do a more realistic city that has the ugly remnants of the 70's but a German city with no trams??! Its funny how a lot of European cities especially in the UK copied the USA in the 70's and ripped up tramways in favour of roadways and car infrastructure. How stupid and shortsighted this looks today when many are reinstating trams, cycleways and paths.

Instead of plopping down the in game trains using find it, you can download the Vanilla Car Props Asset pack and select the trains in there instead since you can delete them. Like you said you don’t have a reason to delete the trains you already placed down but I find this to be less stressful since I know I can delete them in the future if I need to lol. Love the build!

Awesome build Titan! Exciting to see Schwanach grow and hope you'll keep your motivation high for this series and the consistency in publishing videos! And oh boy, the view at 27.40 looks stunning!! PS hopefully Schwanach's Altstadt will be more of a charming medieval/renaissance/baroque rather than postwar monstrosity 😄

I started recreating Dresden on the 1:1 map, I did Neustadt, Trachau, Radebeul, Kötzschenbroda along the S-bahn, they do not use the trains at all. I filled in Mickten and across the river to Friedrichstadt to have a lot of the DVB tram stops they don't use the trams. The game is not setup for any of this, taxis fill the streets. The game is beyond help, I'm done with it.
@idcanthony928616 күн бұрын
I’ve had the same issues but I’m doing a city based on Denver, Colorado, USA. My Cims only walk or clog my streets with taxis. It is so annoying.
@That_guy-s2l16 күн бұрын
You also could waive on a classical Old Town, like you did in Vedastein. Maybe Schwanach dosen't have an Old Town anymore, like Dresden hadn't until its rebuliding in the 90s. You could build medival plots mashed together with brutalist, modern or post modern elements. But dispide my idea, Schwanach is a great projekt and I'm keen to see more of it.
@TitanGameDesign16 күн бұрын
Yes, something along the lines of that is definitely coming. I mean, the very heart of the city can't remain an empty plot of land forever...

the phrases with facecam and the timelapse are perfect with your relaxing voice, really god video. not like other big cs youtubers you mind the realism, i hate how some are just merging buildings wich dont fit together and dont think about their builds. but with you, one can recognise you planned everything in your city, great work man!

the city design is coming up quite nicely and love the road layout, and the meticulous attention to detail are remarkable. I’m especially fascinated by the train station building and rails. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into its design on Mainz. If it would be possible to ask, what is the color name of the train station building?

I think it's nice how you always say "Gründerzeit". In English it is called Wilhelminian style, especially when you're referring to the German era of this style. Alternatively, you can also say Gilded Age, although that refers more to the American direction of the style. But your Denglisch is great. 🤣🤣🤣

In the line tool, the "dices" near the options is what you need to click to disable random colours on props. Once you disable that, all the props you place in a line will be the same colour👍. Nice vid btw!
