Bit of a dogs dinner, isn't it? There is no incentive for challengers, because if you answer all 3 right you come back next day, If you get the first one Wrong you still come back, as does the power player. So you get endless attempts, whether you are a Mastermind or a Mustymind. Would it not have been better to eliminate people and introduce new players? Also what is all this place choosing nonsense about? It's unnecessary.

I’m so pleased this was on here. Bruce was the best entertainer in my lifetime. He was such a professional, funny and talented. I’m grateful that he was on the tv from when I was a little boy to a few years ago. He made Strictly the show it is today. He is missed and was a great loss to the entertainment industry. Rest in Peace Brucie. ❤

Good afternoon, I came across your KZbin channel and I’m really hoping you have a copy of Family Fortunes which aired 2nd December 2002, The Horth Family vs. The Sheargold Family. My girlfriend’s dad was in this episode and he unfortunately passed away recently. I’ve not seen it myself but their family talks about it all the time and I’m sure they’d love to have a copy of it. If you could help out please or point me in the right direction to find it, it would be much appreciated. I’ve crawled the internet but unfortunately haven’t been able to find it.

Nice. Do you by any chance have the episode with Fred Talbot in (series 5 episode 13) ? I am trying to collect shows with Sarah Lancashire in and unfortunately for me one of the Celebrity Squares episodes she was in (out of a few) happened to have the disgraced Fred Talbot in, so it only got repeated once before his trial and won't be repeated again since he was convicted I am sure. On the last set of repeats it missed out this episode.

Answers (Click "Read More" to reveal)… Clue 1 - A beaten up old gramophone. Clue 2 - A suite of furniture for every room in the house... a doll's house, that is. Clue 3 - The 3-2-1 Holiday - a 3 week cruise... on the Isle of Wight ferry! Clue 4 - Dusty Bin - but this being Christmas, it's the star prize! Both charities get their prizes, comprising of a 26" colour television, VHS video recorder, toys and outdoor play equipment, 2 large outdoor buildings for storage, MSX, ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 microcomputers complete with colour monitors, printer and a range of games and educational software. Hurrah! Clue 5 - The Car - a Rolls Royce... but it's a little dinky car.

Is there chance you can upload the 3-2-1 Christmas Special from 1982 please, thankyou.
@deanhall40643 күн бұрын
Can i please ask you where did you find all of theses episodes of 3-2-1 as they are from the original video tapes when the programme was recorded at the time by Yorkshire Television hence why some they have the colour bars, the countdown clock at the beginning and the ebbeded time code. The episodes are what would of been played on broadcast transmission at the time from ITV and people would of seen. Thankyou so much for uploading theses episodes as they are so rare. 3-2-1 is still one of my favourite programmes and always will be as i watched it at the time all those years ago. Ted Rogers was such a nice down to earth bloke in real life and an Ex-Butlin red coat too.

So three rounds each had two members of each team while the other three each had four (or would have if Raeburn had been able to do the assault course). An impressive comeback at the end.

Ever thought they skipped the episode? Challenge did do that to a few episodes, and oddly this has not been online so… safe to assume so. Xmas at Toad Hall and others I’ve posted have been skipped…

@@misterdocuk normally, including back when they were showing it, they skip the christmas/holiday specials on most stuff until the christmas season. Bit annoying at times. But either way, still good to upload it so people can watch. They don't seam to think releasing old gameshows on DVD is worth it but.. oh well.

@misterdocuk4 күн бұрын
It’s episode 2. Gameshows aren’t recorded in order, this was the 3rd show recorded, and this would’ve been the second show transmitted. Therefore I go by TX date as it is more accurate and what TV uses for episode info.

For the Clues, click "Read More" to reveal. For this year's Chrimble special, our contestants are pairs of teenagers representing local branches of charities in three of the countries that make up the United Kingdom - England (Children in Care Liverpool - can't find anything about them, but their work seems to have been continued by charities such as Become and the NSPCC), Wales (Barnardo's Cardiff) and Northern Ireland (Mencap Belfast). Don't worry, Scotland are represented too - as an average cash amount calculated from the winnings in the quiz segment will be donated to a local charity in Scotland (the Royal Blind School in Edinburgh). All our teenage contestants take home a personal stereo whatever happens, because hey, it's Christmas! Clue 1 - A pair of antique glasses (or goggles, as they're called on the clue envelope, delivered by King Rat, played by Alan Curtis) _My evil plan gets set and then_ _The villain you will see again_ Clue 2 - A bottle of pong (delivered by Alice Fitzwarren, played by Dana. But no-one listens to Dana anymore. You'd be mad to listen to her. Unless you're Father Bigley and in a home because of those fires and absolutely nothing to do with Dana) _Alice seems a sport_ _Play here, and naught will be caught._ Clue 3 - A ceramic Dusty Bin (delivered by the Alderman Fitzwarren, played by Friend of the Show™ Kenneth Connor) _Boys might like some tea in_ _If they're not allowed, a 'B' in._ Clue 4 - A clothes peg (delivered by the Fairy of the Bells, played by Billy Dainty) _By now you may be on the scent,_ _But is ours good or bad intent?_ Clue 5 - A star, similar to one you'd put at the top of a Christmas tree (delivered by Dick Whittington, played by Julie Rogers - no relation to Ted) _The ending's happy to this show_ _Keep this, or your chance you'll blow._

Answers (Click "Read More" to reveal)... Clue 1 - A large colour television set, video recorder and set of blank cassette tapes, requested by Children in Care Liverpool. Clue 2 - A selection of toys, sports equipment and a table tennis table, requested by Barnado's Cardiff. Clue 3 - A selection of toys, a speech trainer and a colour television, requested by Mencap Belfast. Clue 4 - A range of camping equipment, requested by the Royal Blind School in Edinburgh. Clue 5 - The star of the show, Dusty Bin... but because it's the Christmas special, all four charities get their prizes! Hurrah!

Thank you for finding this buried treasure. Muchly appreciated. As I said on Gordon Beattie's upload of the premiere, the set design wouldn't look out of place in more recent game shows, with its liberal use of blues, pinks and purples. From Series 2 through to the end of the Max Bygraves era the set went all beige and brown. 😨

Clues (Click "Read More" to reveal)... Clue 1 - a tumbler (delivered by Debbie Arnold) _Tanked up on three-star and how?_ _The captain's in the doghouse now._ Clue 2 - a snorkel and goggles (delivered by Duggie Brown) _Find your own gear, go for a sail_ _And search in a place of a fishy tail._ Clue 3 - a Panama hat (delivered by Corporal Jones aka Clive Dunn - who insists that these clue objects are called MacGuffins) _Although I'm slightly rusty, me motor's quite alright_ _I'm getting married in the morning. Should I stay out all night?_ Clue 4 - a ship's triangle (delivered by Chris Emmett) _Although a prize she thought she found_ _Did he give her the runaround._ Clue 5 - a signed football (delivered by Emlyn Hughes, who was almost as tall as the clue table!) _We'll sail off to Europe to make it 3 up,_ _With the craft of the highway, we could steer back the cup._ Clue 6 - a pair of long johns with an embroidered anchor (delivered by -Duggie again- Long John Silver) _What's in a name? If you but knew,_ _My old long johns might be a clue._

Answers (Click "Read More" to reveal)... Clue 1 - a St. Bernard dog(!) worth £150 (the contestants could claim the money back from the kennels if they didn't want the dog) and a year's supply of brandy. 1978, folks! Clue 2 - a 15-day cruise around Scandinavia, including a stop-off in Copenhagen. Clue 3 - Dusty Bin. Clue 4 - The Car - the new Vauxhall Chevette. Clue 5 - an Arrow Sprint 15hp speedboat complete with trailer and cover. I'm sure I saw that boat as the star prize on Bullseye several times. Clue 6 - a 5-piece sterling silver tea service worth nearly £2000.

It was Whittle’s producer, the late Danny Greenstone, who introduced each edition of the show by saying, “It’s time to be Whittled, and here’s the man to whittle you down, Tim Vine!”
