You did not mention what kind of grease you used in sliding pin. Using the right grease will not damage the rubber boot. Silicone paste is much better. ❤

Look into add a circuit for tapping straight into the fuses for power.. they work great for gauges!!! Just rebuilt my top end and put in a new used transmission into a 04fxt with a ej20x mortor swap (that i paid way too much for to begin with) but now trying to make it great looking into this mod and its genius but beleive it can be simplified and perfected a bit with a few mods of its own.... such as the add a circuit and also a dpdt relay so the ligh lights up when the swith is on. Also found some sweet rear diff lock switches with customizable led lights (i went with green but really liked the red/white because when its off the white lettering of the rear diff lock is illuminated but when on it illuminates the red symbol of the differential so its obviouse when its on and you dont accidentally knock it on and not notice... actually i just ordered it on amazon and might change it from green the the white and red... but my favorite color is green UGHGHGGHV😅

Also just saw a comment where if you're in first gear it automatically locks the diff so this isn't needed as much as it seems but after all the research and just ordered sweet switch, dpdt relay, and 14awg wire, I'm still doing it just gotta find the right way so it will still engage with tire slippage if off but will lock when turned on,,, don't want to blow the diff or tran having it on driving in snowy weather faster than it's meant to go with the diff locked but also want that extra safety for when it does slip..... ya know?

Just coming back to refresh my memory on how to use the Hoover as I use it in my cleaning business was trying to figure out why it wasn’t sucking up the dirty water until I realized that I had the suction panel removed for cleaning and forgot to put it back in. It’s 7 years later and your video is still very helpful. I also didn’t know that the machine heats the water too. Have had mine for two years.

3:20 Good investment for these plastic pins: get a good chromed pryer tool with no hard edges. I learned that lesson and I've got one now, don't wanna miss it. Also soaking the buggers in WD40 before in order to loosen them up after being stuck in there for 10 years makes sense.

This was published in 2017'ish. I had my SG 2.0X 5 speed manual + Low gear for 4 years at that point. Still got it. It's my "big guy" and I intend to keep him as long as possible. The SGs were the best line of Foresters to date. So I'm gleefully watching a tour of a car that I practically know inside out by now ... but hey, confirmation bias ;D
