Tesla Magnetic Sun Shade

I installed the Otrifowd magnetic shade in my model Y. It does a great job of keeping the cabin cooler in the desert sun - huge difference with it installed. I bought this one because it is magnetic and it is super easy to install and remove.

I have this shade in mine don’t crack the windows on the highway rear one blows off every time lol 😅

I installed the ceramic tint on the roof as well as the sides and while it did block out some heat, it isn't enough so I'm looking at the shade. Does yours actually block the heat from coming in the cabin and burning the top of your head? haha

I read a lot of forum posts about the sunshades. They said it doesn’t really help with heat more so just light. I feel like it would require something insulated to help heat. The dark top of the car is going to absorb lots of heat and it will radiate through thin poly fabric. If it was insulated like a blanket I think I would help more with heat. When you put the windshield shade in it can reflect back with a light color through the clear glass. The dark top will just absorb the heat.
