Hi there, do you know if the tracks are carbon or standard extrusions? I want to use with a foil drive and need to know if the signal gets through the board? Boards like Armstrong with carbon tracks and full carbon wrap don't work. Tks
@thejulienfillion13 күн бұрын
@@barryjames7931 Hi Barry, although this WF-1 is a wonderful board, I feel it will be too low volume for the foil drive, even the slim version. The power IMO won't be enough to take off. Although if you get it to work let us know in the comment!!! The Track is plastic, so communication with the remote should not be a problem ;-).
@barryjames793112 күн бұрын
@@thejulienfillion Tks Julien, Just got one, and yes with the plastic tracks, the signal is very good, and if you hold the remote on a front foot strap hole, you get good signal even fully under water duck diving. The FD is really so powerful I find you don't need much volume/board size. Im 75kg, with the Lift HA150, just pull the trigger & am straight onto foil even in flat water. Lift 120 needs just a tiny bit of swell pass under and youre away. Lift HA90 needs a bit of a chip in, but still very easy to get going. Its planning area, not volume gets you on foil, and having a thin board under foot is more fun that a chunky one. Its a really nice shape/design well done, thank you, (and the rear mount tracks are great for FD too)

Great video, and thanks ! One suggestion, never ever fill up the fuel tank to full ! Gasoline expends ! Fuel stabilizer takes care of fuel, no need to fill the tank all the way up. If the sun heats up your fuel tank for any reason, you will experience overflow, even if your gas cap is tied good, the gas will stain your seadoo badly !

Great video! Thanks for this. What is the anchor rope attached to? The anchor casing itself? Do you feel it is strong enough as to not tear the anchor housing off?
@thejulienfillion3 ай бұрын
@jasonnaparalla5142 Hey Jason, I always have a 6' bungee dock line attached to the bow D-ring of the Sea-Doo. The other end of this bungee line is secured to the port anchor mount cleat. When I'm ready to drop the anchor, I tie a loop at least 10' before the end of the anchor line and connect the bungee line to that loop. This setup transfers the anchor's pressure to the bow D-ring through the bungee line. I make sure the loose end of the 10' anchor line passes the loop and is still connected to the anchor mount cleat. This way, when it's time to leave, I can reel in the bungee line, grab the anchor line, and pull the anchor back up while staying dry on the Sea-Doo. I'll be making a video about this soon and will tag you for more details! 😉
