Great video! Thanks for this. What is the anchor rope attached to? The anchor casing itself? Do you feel it is strong enough as to not tear the anchor housing off?

@jasonnaparalla5142 Hey Jason, I always have a 6' bungee dock line attached to the bow D-ring of the Sea-Doo. The other end of this bungee line is secured to the port anchor mount cleat. When I'm ready to drop the anchor, I tie a loop at least 10' before the end of the anchor line and connect the bungee line to that loop. This setup transfers the anchor's pressure to the bow D-ring through the bungee line. I make sure the loose end of the 10' anchor line passes the loop and is still connected to the anchor mount cleat. This way, when it's time to leave, I can reel in the bungee line, grab the anchor line, and pull the anchor back up while staying dry on the Sea-Doo. I'll be making a video about this soon and will tag you for more details! 😉

Wont this void the warranty? Drilling holes into the hull. Def appreciate the time and effort into this like the idea for sure.

@@mfairba Fair point. However, these are BRP parts, and the same anchor mount is installed on the ST-3 platform Sea-Doo Fish Pro 🏆.

Unless SeaDoo can prove that the modification you made is the cause of the failure that you’re claiming in your warranty claim, then they should cover it. Drilling into the hull, especially to install BRP components shouldn’t void your warranty
